  I’ve been having particularly more troubles with my bowel movements recently. I am 20 years old and have been diagnosed with IBS. I have been having trouble passing stool, even though it’s soft. It’s not diarrhea, just softer than average. I keep reading this could be an impacted bowel, but I don’t feel like that’s it.   These past couple months have been so awful. I don’t understand it. I feel like I’m doing all the right things. Meds, going to therapy- and actively participating in therapy at that and using proper coping mechanisms. But I am so down. The depression only seems to be getting worse.   I’m really struggling. I skipped work Tuesday. I had a panic attack on the way there. I went in today. Still absolutely terrified, but I did alright. I like my job and the people I work with. Well, as much as I can, with my emotions being so bad. Point is, the job isn’t the problem. For some reason I got really low tonight. So anxious. About work and school. Especially school.   What’s the point? Of exerting energy? Of going to school? Of going to work? Of leaving my bed? I don’t mean this in a s**cidal way. I don’t want to die. I just want to know the point of living life. I want some motivation.

  I have really been struggling the past year. I find joy in nothing. I’m just completely empty. I’m going to therapy and doing all the right coping mechanisms- but nothing takes away the emptiness. I feel like meds are the only way for me to feel better, but I don’t want to go through that. I’m on meds currently, and I’ve been on these meds at these doses for a couple years now.   I have not been diagnosed with BPD, but heavily identify with many of the symptoms. When I brought it up to my therapist, she said that she couldn't make a PD diagnosis until knowing me for at least a year. I am not self diagnosing, I know it is very possible I don't have BPD.
