  So I have a conversion disorder, also known as functional neurological disorder, and I saw my rapist last week.  Shortly after that I woke up with all my joints hurting, and have progressed to a low-grade fever, swollen wrist, swollen hip, and my vision is blurry off and on, and I am having some muscle pain now too, along with a headache, and I am a bit off balance although I have not actually fallen down.  The only way I can sleep is a shit load of aspirin and I jacked my sisters...

  I just spent the better part of an hour texting my best friend and giving her some coping skills to work with that are very effective for me so I thought I would share as PTSD usually comes with high anxiety and we all know when that happens that sometimes rational thinking just fly.s  out the door and your stuck in your own personal hell.  I use five index cards and on each card, I have written small notes to myself.  When life goes to shit I get my cards if I can't remember it on my own...

  I need to go to bed, but I'm just in one of those funks where I don't want to and the meds aren't really helping much.  I hate beds to the point that even twenty years later I sometimes just say fluff it all and sleep on the floor, my guy usually wakes me up and then I get back into bed.  I guess the bright side is the new meds have helped with the dreams, but I think I need my antidepressant knocked up a bit cuz I don't really have anything to be sad about but I feel sad most days with no...
