Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

I am so very sorry...…
This takes a lot of courage and you are showing her so much love by putting her needs ahead of your own
As firefly wrote if you need to I hope that you'll go to the hospital.... xo
Perhaps this is something trying to give you the time you need with Lexi before you may be parted for a while. Though the situation is so hard and must be a nightmare for you both, please take the opportunity to just be with Lexi while you can. Use being heart to heart and together in this terrible time to absorb all the love, support and companionship between you, so that when you’re separated you can still carry it with you. Your bond with Lexi can’t be broken by separation and in spirit you both will always be together. Only death can truly sever your bonds, so please don’t give up.
I hope with all my heart & soul that you are able to find a safe place for Lexi right now so you can do what is necessary to heal and recover from all of these trials you’re facing that you both don’t deserve. Please take care of yourself and Lexi as best you can right now. Let the bond between you and all the love give you the strength and determination to carry you through the hardships right now, the challenges to come, and guide you towards a future where you & Lexi are safe, protected and together.
Comfort, hugs, hope, and all the luck I can send you & Lexi.
I'm 59 now, and what's happened has been that I have been postponing killing myself since I got that indisputable reason for it 47 years ago. The postponement has been for no big reason that solved all that happened from when I was 10 to 12, that will never be solved.
My postponement has been for no reason at all, but for the little pleasures of the living I couldn't enjoy among the dead. An ice cold glass of tea on a hot summer's day, the feeling of guitar strings under my fingers making a true sound that stirred my ears, seeing a great movie, dumb life stuff like that, nothing major. They just kept adding up, and here I am a postponed suicide 47 years later and counting.
I bought a concert ticket to see Elton John live on his last tour this September, so I'm going to live for that, too. Stuff like that. Wish I had more, wish I had The Answer, but I don't think anybody really does. It's the little things in life that really seem to make life worth living the most. Like loving Lexi.
Sorry if I'm not peer support enough, but I'm really rooting for you, too, and if you can give us an update from in the hospital, we'd be awfully glad to hear how you're doing.
