I joined DS years ago when I came to recall that I was sexually abused by my dad as a young child. It was a lot to process and I found the help and support I needed through this site. Now I am going through some life transitions and in need of support again. I have been struggling with feelings of loneliness, depression and compulsion towards sexually addictive behavior. It's getting better and I feel hopeful that I'm headed in the right direction, but it's always good to have some extra support. Also, I feel better about myself when I am able to help others and believe my knowledge and experiences give me a lot to offer other survivors. Reach out if you feel compelled to.
