  I think it's fair to say, most of the worlds' population is anxious at the moment. I've always been a worst-case scenario thinker and a hypochondriac.   I'm 26 and i've suffered with depression since i was 15. I know it's going to be a lifelong thing, something i'm going to have to manage. Which that alone is a depressing thought. I live in Canada, so i'm blessed to have free healthcare, meaning i can see my doctor for free and there are some free mental health workers and psychiatrists.   Hi allI have had migraines on and off for the last 8 years. I finally started on a presentative med (topirmate) and had an emergency (sultriptan) medication, this started in June 2019.   I have a long history of just ignoring traumatic events. As a child, I was sexually abused by my moms boyfriend. My mom also physical and emotionally abused me and my brothers as well as majorly neglected us. Leaving us alone for days on end. My entire child/teenhood was spent pretending everything was okay.   So..a few years ago I lost a dear friend and i turned to sleeping pills and T3s to 'null' the pain. It got really bad for a few months but then i stopped. I managed to use sleeping pills 'responsibly' since. Pain pills not so much. So i try to avoid them. Well i got surgery on my hand on thursday and was prescribed pain pills.
