  So it's been awhile since my last post. I've had a hystorectomy, and my wife broke her back. I'm the one holding the family together now. It's not just my wife anymore. The roles have been reversed and I don't know if I'm liking it so much. I knew it was hard being the bread winner in the family, but I didn't really know how hard it was until I became the backbone.   So I haven't posted in awhile because I was being stubborn. I have had the worst week for anxiety that could happen. Come to find out we ran out of savings awhile ago, and now we have no money to move to a bigger place, or even our own place.   So I'm thinking that maybe my wife and I should find another place to live. It's hard when you have six fur kids. Especially when one of them is a pitbull. In upstate NY it's hard because most of the places you see for rent won't accept a pitbull. They don't care about other animals, just not pitbulls. And we don't have the option to rehome this sweet guy. He's family. He's had three previous owners that have rehomed him for one problem or another. We can't let him down. So my anxiety is...

  In the Middle

  So, the past couple of days have been rough. My wife's mother has been pushy and controlling lately. She finally pushed my wife to the exploding edge, and my wife screamed back. So here I am in the middle, trying to play nice on both sides. I don't know what's harder. Watching my wife hurt and struggle just to make her parents happy, or me trying not to yell at her mom for the pain she's causing. It's like every time my wife gets ahead, she's knocked down by her mom. It's always something wrong...

  So before I say anything, I'm not suicidal. I have this problem thinking about death. Like what I will look like, or what will happen in the end. I know I shouldn't focus on those things, but it worries me. Like what will happen in the end? No one really knows. I mean not really. People have went to the other side and came back, but can't tell us what really happen over there. Or is it we just go to sleep and wake up in another body on another planet somewhere?   So I haven't been able to post for about a week, because we have been out of power. Then we didn't have internet cuz our wifi box burned out. So here I am with my brain, trying not to have a anxiety breakdown. I paced the floor, tried meditation, nothing subsided my anxiety for six days.   So I went to the doc yesterday for my check up on my incision, and see if it's healing right. Found out a lot of useful info about lifting and what not to do and what I can do. Found out I've been lifting when I shouldn't have been, and walking when I should have been resting. I told the doc that I wasn't told any of this stuff when I left the hospital. And of course the doc got mad, (not at me), and completely forgot to look at the incision lol. I mean it's healing well, so it really didn't...

  Ok so I know when I go to Walmart to be prepared for the unexpected. I mean, some people that go to Walmart are interesting creatures. What I can't stand is the fact as soon as people hit the doors they are acting up. Why do people have to be so damn rude? I mean did common consideration take a leave of absence? So, since my surgery I ride a buggy cart through the store. Now, I could go to another store, but the closest is 45 minutes away. Well, it used to be if you were in a buggy cart people...

  Learn to Laugh

  So my loving wife taught me a lesson today. She reminded me to laugh at the little things. I had forgotten to laugh even when you should be pissed. And Walmart is definately one of those places you just have to laugh to get through. It's like people have forgotten how to function when they hit the walmart doors. It's like Black Friday every day lol. I know some of us know how to conduct ourselves in public. But then there are those out there that call Walmart home...and do little to respect...

  So I fired my doc today. Its a relief knowing I'm finally going to get a doc that doesn't call out every few days or so. I still say if my doc had her priorities straight, I wouldn't have to be finding a new doc. It's just the frustration of my psyc doc letting me down every chance she got. It feels weird not having that security net under me. I know those shoes will be filled soon enough. But damn it's scary being out here on my own with no doc. I have plenty of meds to get me through this...

  So here I am, healing slowly. I hate just sitting and relaxing all the time. I like to get out and do once in awhile. I know I'm more of a homebody and don't really go out. But I figure fresh air can't hurt a healing body. So daily or almost daily I go out and walk a little. Do a little something to help the healing process along some. I know it's good for me.   So, I am suppose to "see" my PA for psych meds. Every other week she calls off without any consideration for her patients. It's like I don't see her more then I see her. I don't know what to do on this part. It's like she wants me to keep taking my meds, but at the same time, if she stubbs her toe she calls into work and tells them she can't come in. I'm so sick of her calling off without notice. She doesn't care about her patients because if she did, she would be there more often. I know docs...

  Hey there everyone! So, I had my surgery and everything went well. I'm awful sore, but healing well.  I'm not moving too fast lol. I just want to send everyonre a great big thank you for all your support. I means the world to me to open up my mail and see so many positive responses. It really lifted my spirits whille I am recovering. I'm doing everything the doc told me to do. I did get some bad care in the hospital though. Like when they took the catheter out, they let me sit in my own piss...
