Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
So my loving wife taught me a lesson today. She reminded me to laugh at the little things. I had forgotten to laugh even when you should be pissed. And Walmart is definately one of those places you just have to laugh to get through. It's like people have forgotten how to function when they hit the walmart doors. It's like Black Friday every day lol. I know some of us know how to conduct ourselves in public. But then there are those out there that call Walmart home...and do little to respect other people there. Now I'm not one to dress up or act out of character. I try to treat everyone with respect. But......When I got shoved in my buggy cart today, I think I just had to sit down and laugh. It's not surprising that ppl would do such a thing in a store. I mean, I've seen fist fights over socks in Walmart. I'm just sick of people acting like idiots over nothing other than they don't like the person standing in the isle beside them. It makes me want to stay in my house that much more. Like every three months or so, we go do our big shopping so we don't have to buy every week. And we both dread going to Walmart which happens to be the only store in town besides a Dollar Tree.
I guess I'm just in a bitching mood and had to vent a little. It just bothers me we went from respecting each other like human beings to wanting to pummel the lights out of someone just cuz they look a certain way or they have differant beliefs. What a world we live in.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
For what it's worth
My social anxiety always says the speaker is talking about me during the generic people rants. I, strictly personal, really am so socially awkward that I am generally clueless on the proper social protocols. Sorting "polite" from "rude" is somewhere between difficult and impossible for me. Even without the New Normals of Coronaville, nobody seems to agree on the fine points of either one when I work up the courage to ask. I am pretty quick to apologize for my ignorance, whether I was at the scene of the faux pas, or knot.
Sorry for my contribution to the rudeness of this crazy world we live in.
It will get better.
