Another Day passes

I sit here wondering what today will bring,

Will I do what I set out to do, or will I run in a ring?

I watch her sleep and I pray her pain is gone,

She's been through so much and so much has gone wrong,

But she is a rock and by her I stand,

I hear the music and she's in the band,

She plays a tune sweet and soft,

In her web I am caught,

I look at our children an think about them,

How they will play in the sun time and again,

How I'm fascinated by their boundless energy,

How they run in circles and then back to me,

Yes my family is crazy that part is true,

But they are my family through and through,

I would be lost if I lost just one,

Wheather it be my daughters or my sons,

My wife would be the greatest loss of all,

For she is the one that heades everyone's call,

Always there when wanted or needed,

Always saying exactly what she means,

Ah but look at the time, it has gone by quick,

Too much time passing by can make you sick,

To bed I must go to get some much needed rest,

For tomorrow is another day to be at my best.

So the sun sets low in the tiring sky,

And at this I must say goodnight.
