Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
So I'm thinking that maybe my wife and I should find another place to live. It's hard when you have six fur kids. Especially when one of them is a pitbull. In upstate NY it's hard because most of the places you see for rent won't accept a pitbull. They don't care about other animals, just not pitbulls. And we don't have the option to rehome this sweet guy. He's family. He's had three previous owners that have rehomed him for one problem or another. We can't let him down.
So my anxiety is coming from a bad living situation. Yesterday I was in walmart and I had a huge panic attack. I thought I was going to die right there in the cashier lane. I can just here people now "fat lady down!" (trying to be funny). But when it comes to panic attacks its no laughing matter. My wife understood what was going on and ushered me outside. It only took a few minutes for the extreme panic to die down and I was able to recover (i had to). Being claustraphobic ad wearing these masks don't make it easier. It's like trying to breathe through a wet pillow. My shrink says I'm getting better, I don't see it. I know I"m trying my hardest to battle this internal war but I feel like I'm losing. My wife is there for me as much as she can. Always trying to make me laugh through it all. But seeing her going through her own struggles makes it hard on me. I don't know what I can do. I'm at a loss right now. I am feeling really defeated cuz I can support my wife through it all, no problem. But when it comes to me, I'm at a loss. I'm doing everything I can, and still getting painc attacks. It's like I can't handle just going to the store anymore. More and more I stay home, while the world moves on around me. Only time will tell if I'm winning a mental war or not. I only pray we get out of this house before it comes crashing around us and we're homeless. That's my biggest anxiety, and fear.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
Exactly what you need and what you're willing to change in order to find what you need will take you through different research potential.
It depends on what you are able to do to work it out.
Fear leaves when you figure out how to put it in its place.
Here's to your success!
Research places, go look at them, figure out how much you can afford, etc.
In my city, there are lots of pit bulls in rentals. I hope you can find a place that will take them! Best wishes.
