Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
So I went to the doc yesterday for my check up on my incision, and see if it's healing right. Found out a lot of useful info about lifting and what not to do and what I can do. Found out I've been lifting when I shouldn't have been, and walking when I should have been resting. I told the doc that I wasn't told any of this stuff when I left the hospital. And of course the doc got mad, (not at me), and completely forgot to look at the incision lol. I mean it's healing well, so it really didn't need to be looked at anyways. But I think it's funny when you get sidetracked and completely forget what you came for. But I did walk away with a new perspective on it all.
I signed my living will and health care proxy yesterday. Like I made it all official. For some reason it scared the hell out of me signing it. Like I'm signed my death certificate or something. I don't know that's what it felt like. I know my wife will take good care of me, but at the same time, I don't want to sign these papaers. It's so final. I honestly don't want that time to come. I don't know what's going to happen in the furture, but I don't want death calling at my door. It all seemed so personal and final. I cant really put it into words how I felt. Everyone else was excited, and I guess I kinda went along with it, and smiled and laughed with the rest of them, but inside, I was shaking, crying, really scared, and anxious. I didn't let it show, and my wife doesn't know how this made me feel. But it's all said and done now, I guess. Don't really know what happens next. Just don't die I guess. Please tell me I did the right thing? I mean, I trust my wife with my life. And I guess now I have shown it. So that's a good thing, right?

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

First, I hope everyone is doing well, and continuing to fight that good fight! Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
At 66, I've been through several rounds of the death related paperwork. It has been called something different for each of the times I've "Gotten My Affairs In Order," but I think the bottom line is covering the same ground. I think. . . Maybe. . .
Today I think the hardest part is the need to keep doing ^it^ over, by whatever name set. My life has changed radically since the last go-round. I don't even want to learn all the newest names for ^it^, much less do the do.
How 'bout a Hunger Games style tournament? Winner takes all.
