I have been here quite a while now so it is about time to refresh this and change it around a bit , , change is good... I think that I am somewhat better than I used to be , , been through lots of changes since I have started on this site, , In some ways things have remained the same , , , made some friends , , some acquaintances and lost a lot as well mostly through disinterest or boredom on their part , , occasionally on mine but not often, , I have a long career in Social Services where due to circumstances not my doing I was retired and that was about 2 years ago, , I am glad that I am not in my 20\'s or 30\'s or 40\'s , , as these people are having an extraordinarily rough time of it in a whole range of lifes complex problems, , Frankly I don\'t think that I could handle it well at all from what I am reading.. Seems that an awful lot of folks my age are either broken, dead, living on the edge without a net, or in some cases though I suspect not many are doing just fine, , I tend to get political on here in which case I have a times been taken to task by the DS God, , , one cannot help but make political statements as they relate now and again, , My biggest beef with people on this and other sites is this , , , if I take the time to write something interesting and direct it at you or somehow lights a fire it is YOUR responsibility to respond, , that is what social media is all about , , , and I don\'t care who you are , , ok, , , sometimes I am deficient in this but that is rare, , , (unless your a stark raving idiot) in which case no explanation is necessary.
