Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

Had a rough day. And, we are required as of today to wear face masks to enter any essential place, which means the customers have to wear face masks at grocery stores, pharmacies, post office, food places for take out and pick up food, etc. Required to. Believe me, I don't even want to be out anywhere anyway, but I have to.
We've had Stay At Home for 4 weeks now. They said it would be until April 30. But now today they just pushed our Stay At Home an additional two weeks to May 15 now.
Waited outside today in the rain for 20 minutes just to enter the grocery store, where it's still mostly empty shelves. I haven't been able to find certain things for a month now.
I already cancelled 4 appointments that would have happened in the last 4 weeks, and now I don't know when I will ever be able to reschedule anything. I sometimes feel like we will be closed up for the rest of this year. At least in the city I live.
I'm thankful that I haven't caught the virus. I do kind of know someone, that died last week. But, I am also tired of living like this, and now it got extended??? I don't see an end in sight to the restrictions where I live (big city).

It's bedtime but I heated up some coffee to take my pills with and made a fresh pot so I can have some as soon as I wake up tomorrow a.m. I've been on a roll for 2 days with cleaning and getting other stuff done. I bought a new cell phone about a week ago and I've been having some issues. I stopped at Verizon and a nice young man jumped in to help. As a result, I was able to get an iced...

My day...today...misplaced my debit card...didn't realize it until I got to the register after shopping to a full cart. Used a different debit card and pulled apart everything looking for missing debit card before I left parking lot. Got home, dropped keys. So now I have a missing debit card, missing keys. A full cartload to unload and put away. I got everything put away.Dumped purse for a...
to normal. Just don't know when.
It's not going to last forever. Take each day at a time.
We are all in this together, whether we stay at home, are essential workers, or trying to help keep food on the table and supplies for home.
Most have a support system of family, I don't. It is just Lucy and me at home and Mom doing therapy about 3 miles away. It seems like a million miles and years away. We are both teary when I have to leave her. I almost cried and Mom was on the verge today. It is so hard not to be able to touch. I hope and pray one day, we can be together again. Sooner than later.
I agree that this will be over eventually but not any time soon. We have been sheltering in place and NOT going out for months now too.
I’m lucky enough to have been able to quit working right before this all started and to be living with family.
We will get through this together. This support group is invaluable just to know we aren’t alone.
I heard about the masks but I thought it was a requirement whenever we went outside. So I’ve been afraid to go outside at all.
Can you order groceries online and have them delivered? That’s what we are doing. Some was delivered to our house late yesterday and I’m scared that they weren’t properly disinfected or brought into the house instead of around the house and disinfected first. So here I am at 2:23 am with an Anxiety attack.
Yeah, so it goes in this new reality we are learning how to live in.
Sorry for rambling on there a bit. Please keep in touch.
Take Care and Be Well,
