What are you doing under your mask?

This season of isolation is hard on all of us. However, my life has not changed much, because I live alone and am always by myself. So, what the world is experienceing is my typical day of social distancing in my home due to many reasons. But the thing that is different for me is wearing these masks. I have been depressed and I've been going through a lot of grief due to the loss of my therapist, but the other day I made myself crack up in public. I thought to myself. "you know nobody can see if I'm smiling or making faces under this mask." Well, that's what I started doing. I had a lot of fun making faces under the mask in public. It may sound stupid to some of you, but it was such a stress reliever to me and quite humorous. I'm just trying to lighten the load! Anyway, I hope everyone is hanging in there!!

That's hilarious! It made me laugh. Thank you. It is so hard to talk with masks...and I didn't realize how much I was reading people's lips and looking for more visual cues in conversation.

I also notice that with masks you don't have to do makeup except for your eyes lol Saves on lipstick and foundation...most of your face is covered. lol

I found that really funny too! Not stupid at all and, as you said, a great stress reliever!! I make my own masks. Saw one someone had made that had lips on it, it was cute!

I know what you all feel about this and its out of hand. don't now what to believe any more is it china that caused it or is it the demarcates or republicans trying to take control of us. but I have been in the house do not go out side unless I have to. just hope this will all end soon and get back to working and paying bills.

You have cats,,,and I have 5 cats ,,,they really keep me going and focus especially when things get off center,,,,it concerns me though when there is still inadequate testing and no treatment and lockdown even with controls are going to be put into place ,,,there are those who are going to ignore the restriction and will get sick and will infect others ,, people will sink to the least legal behaviors if at all,,,
