It is beginning to look like this is going to go on at least through the end of 2020 and sometime into 2021 regardless of who wins in Nov. I guess it is a matter of hanging on as much as possible till then,,,I will turn 71 in Dec. All my close friends are in the same boat ..were all just hanging on ,,some a bit better than others.

I go or did go to AA meeting pretty regularly pre-pandemic ,, just out of curiosity I went to the place I usually attend which happens to be a smoking meeting ,, I do not smoke ,,, but some meetings are more tolerable than others ,, a few days ago I went and sure enough the smoke was a thick as a old time gambling hall,, with about 35 people there, I was wearing a mask and sat far from others as best as I could ,, no one except me bothered to wear a mask and they were seated like normal most right next to one another,, I stayed about 10 minutes,,9 minutes more than I should have ,, the scene wanted to make me explode, but I held my temper,, these folks had kids and families, most of them anyway,,,WHAT THE FUCK WERE THEY THINKING  !!...No one seemed to have a care or concern in the world other than their collective concern over their own Alcoholism.. the irresponsibility of these people was incredible ,,,

just thought that I share this ,, btw,, a sign was posted on the front door that ALL participants were expected to follow guidelines of wearing a mask and social distancing inside  the meeting ,,,,,NO ONE BOTHERED TO DO EITHER,,.
