Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
How's everyone doing?..... Are you finding ways to feel supported and ways to fill your time while going through this difficult time?I
I'm sure watching a lot of TV and I always read alot but am reading more then ever
I am pretty reclusive so I probably don't find it as difficult as some do... My landlord is my dear friend so we hang out a lot and we're always respectful so we get along fine... I just state when I'm going to my apartment to have alone time
PJ's have really become popular attire...smile
We have Rascal and he has a cat Cozette so we really are fortunate
How are you doing??..... Big squishy hug.....xo

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...

I ordered a few minor things for my photography. I plan on taking trips to the country finding barns etc. Maybe old cars? Then I will log their locations on a GPS app on my Android phone. I will come back to them after dark.
I want to try "light painting" with my photos. Where you use a flash light, and colored theater gels to make different colors on your subject.
Also am busy with that NDA website. Trying to listen to music mostly on my computer, and not watching the news too much.
Hope you are doing ok.
My dr ended up writing me off for three weeks not two.
Just lounging about the house and caring for my dogs.
I can imagine that the photos will be great
Big hug sweetie....xo
Big hug while you cuddle with the pooches......xo
In all honesty I am not doing too hot. I have been struggling a lot and all my symptoms have gotten worse. :( I think I am going to talk to my Tdoc, because this can't go on.
I've been walking a lot and I'm losing weight but not in a healthy way. I just need some human interaction, I am an extrovert and the isolation has been tough on me.

I have just been reading a lot. The grand dawg helps out. She’s loving and precious. Been cooking quite a bit. (Which means lots of dishes.) Other than that not a lot to do. The beaches are supposed to open up soon for excercise purposes only. It will be refreshing. I bet there’s a lot of shells. Take care everyone!
loneliness reared its ugly head but I finally have persuaded my kids to 'zoom' or house party having made them see that they all have company within physical distancing but I do not. I hope it takes place as I am very much looking forward to it. I have gone without food for a couple of days not for lack of it but for lack of ability to prep it due to severe pain. Not a hope of surgery on the trapped nerves in my spine even if I would consider it with all its associated risks so this has been a challenge. I managed to cook a few meals on sunday so I've had two days of delicious dinners which have been great. Overdoing it physically when i can is downright stupid but at the end of the day after a rocky few months i can see a little light at the end of the tunnel.
good post Jan.
Hugs to all.
Reading a book and rests in the hammock on cool days are a big draw right now!
Glad you and Rascall are doing well.
Sun, have you read anything amazing you can recommend?
