About Me
Diagnoses: Borderline Personality Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, JME, RA. I'm mostly here for help with my BPD. I have struggled with depression/anxiety most of my life but wasn't diagnosed until 2010. After a mental health crisis in November 2017, I was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder. I am just learning what it means to live with this disorder, but it makes so much about my past and my current struggles make sense. I have one brother (adopted) who is bipolar and addicted to heroin. I grew up in a very dysfunctional family. I'm working with the most amazing therapist I've ever had and I think I'm getting better, but a lot of days I feel like I'm getting worse. I think it's just because I am processing so much and revisiting many old, painful wounds and memories. I have a compulsive need to "make sense" of everything that I'm also working on. I call it "analysis paralysis." I'm a loving, caring person who just feels too much.
