After 5 months in Enbrel and methotrexate I was feeling almost good. Then it just stopped working. At first I thought it was a flare but I’m certain now it’s just not working. I’m back to square one. Has this happened to anyone else? What was the next step for you?
Yes this happened to me. My next step was Simponi, which I thought was way better in terms of the autoinjector not hurting so much. I had to rotate out my biologics more than once. Apparently it's pretty common. I started on Humira, then Enbrel, then Simponi. Now I'm asymptomatic.
