nite all and a truthful day again tomorrow
I’ve been thinking about movies (thanks, medicx) and “The Matrix” popped into my head. By lying, I have created a false life – trying to convince others (and myself) that I am a different, better person than I am. The movie reference is probably a stretch, but it makes sense to me. Lying about who I am is initially much easier than working on becoming a better person – but harder and more painful in the long run. Being truthful is pretty much the opposite. So, today I’m going to slow down and think before speaking – and then speak the truth.
Good luck to all of us. I hope we all have a wonderful, truthful day.
good thoughtful day to all
I've not lied today, and was able to take responsibility for an error that I made, even though my mind wantt me to cover it up and hope nobody found out. One day at a time.
Thanks for your posts and keep writing them.
saying that the automatic reflex to lie is not still there, but I seem to have options instead.
Anyway, just thinking out loud, have a truthful day.
you do speak the truth....that's the only way you can do it, let me not be so aggressive with that...it's the only way "I" can do it....it works for me and so that's what i do..not easy, probably won't every be...hopefully it can be made into a habit and then we won't have to work so hard at being honest, i'm still working on it...so far so good (today) who knows what tomorrow will be like....stick with it and you'll be okay..good luck
