checking in - two and a half days without lying. Going to a party tonight where my resolve to stop lying may be tested. I am felling strong though.

read through the various posts and you'll find you're not alone; slow down, think before speaking and correct any slips - it isn't easy, but it is liberating.

had a 'date' with my wife - it got awkward at one point; this truthfulness can create moments of awkwardness. we fixed it, but we both noticed when it happened - it was like flipping a switch.

I was lie free yesterday and hope for more of the same today - happy Saturday to everyone.

Just checking in. Weekends are the loneliest for me. At least during the week I have work to keep me busy but on the weekends I am left to myself to think about all the lies that got me to this lonely place. I miss my wife so much. I pray she can give me another chance but she says there is no hope for that. It is hard to hear those words but I can't blame her.

Good Sunday to everyone. I didn't lie yesterday, but I shut down, I built a walll to protect myself - that resulted in almost a worse situation than lying. I also need to work not only on truthfulness but vulnerability.

Made it through another day lie free. Being snowed in kept me away from much contact with people but I did have some phone conversations with family. Spent lots of time reflecting on my situation. Grateful for what I have and trying to focus on that instead of what I lost. Hoping for another honest day tomorrow.

Another lie-free day and it felt really good. I find it tempting to continue my BS with friends I haven't seen in a while, ie continuing to support my previous BS - that part is hard and re.quires perserverance.

And BTR, I have been fighting walling off. Trying my best to participate and be a part of the family. It is so easy to shut dowm and let the resentments have free reign. Easier to sit back and be in my ownwworld. Takes effort to
