lisamarie - good luck with everything, I hope to hear your good news soon
Kelly - thanks, I think if they cancelled the cycle it would only cost us an extra $400 I think the nurse told me (I guess that is to cover the drugs) Good luck with your cycle
I4birds - really hope your other follies catch up
karan - Glad you are feeling better. My trigger shot has a thicker needle then the others and at first I tried to put it in a little slowly, but it hurt! So then I tried again and did it fast and it wasn't so bad. Good luck with yours
GC- good job ovaries and good luck Friday!! I can't wait to get to the next step in this process!
babysteps we are very close in timing! I was told the ER should be early next week, but I'll know better thursday which day it will be. now you have scared me about a new and uncomfortable needle! lol I hope you get to feeling better soon!
lisamarie- only on day two?! ahh man i feel like its dragging too and i am not even you! :)
ibirds- welcome and i pray that your other follies catch up soon so things can continue! it would be so upsetting to cancel!
Kelly- hope AF comes soon so you can get this party started!:)
Karan- sorry to hear about the bad reaction. As if the meds weren't bad enough on their own...I broke out from trying one in my leg the other day. Hope tomorrow goes better for you.
I had my second u/s yesterday and am not feeling great about things. I still have "something" there- i guess cyst?? he said its small and nothing to worry about and could disappear but again he is worried it will affect my hormones so he said he would call later and let me know if we can continue or if we should cancel. this was the same thing he said with my first u/s on friday, and since he said continue then i thought we were in the clear, so it was discouraging to hear its still a concern. I'm really anxious about thursday's appt now. (i did get the go ahead again after getting blood results) i just can't imagine going through all of this and then it being canceled, but i know it happens all the time. I'm also discouraged bc there were only 6 follies recorded, and i thought since i am only 25 i might have a better result but i guess i need to be happy to have any and stay positive. I'm also discouraged by the meds (wow, I'm discouraged about a lot aren't i ? lol) I thought each time it would get easier but it feels the opposite. It could be that i am rushing it a bit more so tonight i am going to ice for longer and take my time. but even with rushing i can't believe how time consuming it is! Last night was my first night doing it without the video and i messed up on something simple right away. ugh. i at least used written instructions and continued bc i can't take the time to do the DVD every time and i need to get a handle on it, but i still feel nervous of messing up, and they were just more painful last night. I also had a bad reaction half way through where suddenly i felt like iw as going to faint and throw up, sweating etc- sounds similar to you Karan! DH works until 11pm so i was alone and scared i would pass out and not get the meds in when i should. sorry for writing a book here ladies, but thanks for listening! wishing everyone good news in the coming days!
Kelly - Hope that AF arrives soon for you!
Karen - Sorry that you were having problems with your meds. Hopefully things get easier.

She told me that she has had other clients that have been very successful with this. She said it also helps with morning sickness.
Just thought I would share! night all, have a fantastic 4th!
Lisamarie - I hear you on the 2ww. I'm 6 days in this morning - wish I could just fast forward this part. I'm also hoping mine is a blastocyst today and will start implanting soon. Visualizing it can't be bad.
i4birds - welcome and good luck!
Kelly - I'm sure AF is on her way, not to worry; then you can get the show on the road! :) Good luck!
Karan - also a heads up that sometimes taking the vitamins with milk can upset your stomach as well.
JA - super good luck for your next ultrasound. I really hope they don't have to cancel you.
On my end, nothing to report.. just waiting waiting waiting.
Karen - I tried similar prenatals, made by Melaluca, when pregnant. I reacted the same way. Ugh! And they made morning sickness harder. Taking them at night did help somewhat.
babysteps- praying for you!
JA - I really hope they don't have to cancel and 6 follicles are enough. Just one good one is all you need. You'll get down to a routine with the meds and it will go faster.
Happy 4th everyone. Its raining here in MA.
I was 30 (I thought young enough) and only produced 4 eggs, 3 were mature, and it worked! Just remember its all quality. Women can produce DOZENS OF EGGS and not get pregnant.
I have found that by have a ritual for my injections it has helped me to do it correctly and not doubt myself. Sit in the same place, have the same things on hand. For me this includes: ice cube, alcohol swab, meds, paper towel, multiple syringes in case I mess up and my needle disposal bin. I try to always do them 12 hours apart. Somehow this has helped me to feel confident. I also recommend holding the needle in for a count down of 10, to make sure the meds are out,
Babysteps - I'm sorry that they might cancel. Such a frustrating thing. Canceling is better than a BFN since you would not loose the money's spent on your ER and Transfer.
Lisamarie - keep busy! That's the only way I survived! See a movie, get a pedicure and spoil yourself.
I4birds - five is good (in my book). You only need one good egg! It's better to have a few good eggs than a bunch that aren't doing well. And as my nurse told me yesterday -- they want them to grow slowly as its a sign of better quality. I have an 11 month old that proves you only need a few.
Karan - yes, only take the prenatals on a full stomach. I use prenatal tummies from target and they seem to leave my stomach alone. The one my OB prescribed am me super sick. I also heard its good to take them after breakfast. The stress may also be effecting your stomach.
Stay strong ladies! This process is an emotional roller coaster and they put us on hormones to intensify the ride. I go between laughing and crying all the time. I am so ready for ER. Only a few more days now. My HCG shot is tonight at 9 pm sharp.
((hugs))
Ok...end rant, I am sure you all have felt the same way at one point. DH is tired of hearing about it, but I am not sure where else to talk about it! Ok...onto being more positive now!
Hopefully AF comes soon!!!
And the sex didn't work.
Can we have wine? I'd love some but at this point I'm too paranoid to try it.
Erin- I hope AF comes for you too! I am also paranoid about drinking during this time! :-)
