Hi ladies,
This is my first time on DS. I recently finished my first IVF cycle with PGD. I had four embryos but after the PGD it was determined that only one was healthy, a little girl. The waiting has been torture and yesterday we got a BFN. I've been so discouraged.
I have had 6 miscarriages over the past four years and have one beautiful little son who is 2 and half. It seems most likely that I have many eggs with chromosome abnormalities - we knew that was the case for sure with two of the babies.
I will start my second round of IVF in July. Anyone else?

Roxy- maybe your body's not ready. I know sometimes we don't want to hear these things because we are tired of waiting and want to be a mommy so bad but you have to listen to your body first. I wanted you to be transferring along with me but most importantly I want you well. We won't do a baby any good if we don't take care of ourselves first. Keep holding strong and your body will work things out **Big Hug your way*
Asr - welcome to the group. I hope your surgery goes well and the Dr.'s can "clean stuff up" for an ER and ET. Keep us posted.
Karen - just wondering how you are feeling?

As for me, my US showed 6 follies on the right and 5 on the left. Not bad for day 3 of stims, even though my right ovary feels as if it might explode. My RE called today and said based on my blood work I could lower my stim meds. Thank goodness! I go back on Wed and Fri for more US and BW. I am looking at a retrieval 8/8 and a transfer 8/13.

Roxy--- i just wish youd get a break. Bless your heart!
As for me... My re was happy with all the follicles but wanted me to keep up with my meds at the same dosage. My bloodwork came back good but unfortunately unless things change by thursday iM probably not getting my ER friday like I want. I was upset but came to my senses realizing that its out of my control and that im doing pretty well for day 5.... I thought i was day 6 but my re nurse corrected me. She said most dont see this many follicles this early... But obviously we want bigger and the smaller ones to catch up. Silly me for wanting to plan this out due to needing to take time off. But just like a due date... Its just a projection not a definate.

Sorry I've been absentee for the last few days. I think the 2WW does it to me.... anyway, four days down.....UGH! BD'ing went well, lol. Of course there was a bit of a panic situation when the boyfriend fell asleep at home Friday night...grrrr....but we made up for it at 6am on Saturday.
Karen - So glad you got a embryo surprise! Great news :-)
Nae - You're such a positive light! So happy you're in the group. And yes, you're making GREAT follicles! I usually end up with 2/3's of what I start out with when I'm where you are :-) Read your journal about the retrieval possibly getting pushed back a day or two...don't worry about it. Whatever gets you a step closer to BFP is worth the wait.
Roxy - I"m sorry your beta is dropping so slowly...you must be so frustrated. Did your RE office give you an idea of when you'll hit zero? I made a comment on your journal about my experience. I hope that helps.
ASR - Welcome to the group! You are definitely in the right place! And wow, things are moving quickly for you :-) You're lucky to have a friend in real time that has gone through this. I wouldn't have been able to go through this without a strong support system.
TTC - You're moving right alond too! Great folli count so far :-)

Welcome ASR - I know this is so stressful. I'm glad you're joining us. I think that our cycles will be pretty close. I have a little over a week on BCPs still.
Roxy - I'm so sorry for what you're going through. I hope your beta is going way down. Once after a mc my beta wouldn't go down. I asked for a sono-hsg, which they denied. Then 14 weeks later they finally did it and low and behold - I had not passed the placenta! The whole experience was such torture. I hope you can beg your RE to just take the IUD out for crying out loud and give you a sono-hsg right away if your beta isn't dropping. I wasted so much time waiting Ugh.

Laurie, I think your one of the strongest chicks her, hang in there. The TWW is brutal. Let's just hope this cycle started.off weird with you follies but it will end with a BFP.
Nae & TTCteach, your both doing great. Can't wait to know when we have to send you good vibes for your transfers.
JA hope this cycle ends with a bfp, I still can't believe how good you are to be going through all this and doing your job at the same time.
Erin, I stopped my BCP on Sunday. I'm starting my lupron, dexomenthasone and folgard tomorrow. I have never given myself a shot. I think I need an hour to just prep my nerves and anxiety.
So I have been on my BCPs since 7/24/12, today I went for hysterosonogram and teach on injections. We've done injections before with IUI's but now this will be more then just Gonal F. I start Lupron on 8/13/12 & then on 8/22/12 I go in for bloodwork & ultrasound. The last day I will take BCPs is 8/17/12. I was very relieved to get a calendar from my dr today so I can see how my month is planned to go. Fingers crossed :) I was also very excited to hear from the nurse that after my bloodwork & ultrasound on 8/22 they will call me every afternoon with progress and instructions for that evening. If things go well, my transfer date will be 9/3/12.
I did get my progesterone levels checked today nurse called and said it was at 34.5 and they want to see it above 15 so all is good there...just wish today would have been my beta.

ASR-Welcome! The first shot is always the hardest. You will be surprised at how easy it is after that! You can do it!!!
Roxy-You are so right. Though waiting stinks, you have the right attitude about letting your body heal.
As for me, I'm starting to feel "full". My us this morning went well. On the left I have a 12, 14, 16x20, 13 and 14. On the right, 14, 14, 13, 15, 12, 13. It's sounds like I will probably trigger on Sun or Mon.

I had another ultrasound this morning and I get to trigger at 10am... (20mins from now) and egg retrieval is tomorrow at 10pm! I am so excited I can hardly stand it. Its almost time for the dreaded 2ww...omg ladies im nervous
Its so great that everyone is so active on the thread! I'm doing okay on the 2WW...about one week into it. But, I'm really thinking this will be a BFN...something just doesn't feel right. Sigh.
Karen - This stinks right??? LOL Are you going to take an HPT?
Nae - Good luck with your retrieval!! You'll be in the 2WW soon enough...be careful what you wish for, lol
Road - I totally know that feeling...I would feel like my belly was fully of water. UGH. But, great folli count =)

As for me, I still have another week of BCPs. I feel like its taking forever. We're heading to VT for a big family weekend. Oh man, I hope there's no drama. I'm kinda nervous about seeing my SIL who has two little kids she has little tenderness for and is pretty good at subtle, cutting remarks about my apparent bareness. I always just smile and shrug off rude comments and feel awful later. Anyone, have the perfect thing to say when someone's being rude about your infertility?
