Hi ladies,
This is my first time on DS. I recently finished my first IVF cycle with PGD. I had four embryos but after the PGD it was determined that only one was healthy, a little girl. The waiting has been torture and yesterday we got a BFN. I've been so discouraged.
I have had 6 miscarriages over the past four years and have one beautiful little son who is 2 and half. It seems most likely that I have many eggs with chromosome abnormalities - we knew that was the case for sure with two of the babies.
I will start my second round of IVF in July. Anyone else?
This journey has been so long, and with so much grief. I don't want to do this alone anymore or hide my miscarriages.

babsteps - sorry for the sore belly, you would think we would get use to the shots. hopefully relief will come your way, all this will be forgotten when you get that BFP and have a baby in your arms.

Now I have to go into work, I should hear from the doc this afternoon.

My dr. just canceled my round. ER was supposed to be Monday but my estrogen is so low she doesn't think I could possibly have more than one egg. How do you know when its time to give up? It doesn't seem like IVF is working for me. There is only one more protocol left to try. Trying naturally isn't working either. I just can't bear the thought of carrying one more baby destined to die. Of course, when she called I was in Babies 'r Us buying a potty chair, surrounded by pregnant women. I'm so sick of all the waiting, the weight gain, the insensitive people, rearranging my life to get to the clinic... I want this to be over. I want a baby.
Just when I think my pity party is over, I get handed another slice of cake.

Mine has come to an end. After POAS since Monday and getting nothing, it is official. My beta showed a BFN. I am so sad but I know things will brighten up soon. It is time to look forward in a different direction.

I haven't been on here because I had to stop my ivf cycle and have surgery instead. It went well and i hope to get back to ivf in a few months. I was just reading about how you all are doing and I wanted to send my prayers and thoughts to all of you. This is such a roller coaster for everyone. I wish you all the very best, wherever your journey takes you.

Erin- xoxoxox's as I know you feel defeated at this stage. You are down but not out please think about it that way. Your inner strength will get you thru.

So, I'm so upset by all of the bad news today!
Lisa Marie - I'm sorry about the BFN :-( Are you going to try again this cycle?
Karen - When will you get the blood results back? I'm sorry if the cause is different then what you thought, but at the end of the day what's most important is being diagnosed so you can move forward with the best plan.
Erin - Is there any other protocol you can try to get your estrogen up? You have had a successful pregnancy before, so your body does know what to do.... although I know how scary the idea of a miscarriage is. Are you going to talk to your RE about other options?
TJ - What kind of surgery did you have?? Best wishes for a speedy recovery!
GCin - I don't feel pregnant either!!!! LOL. Everytime I take my bra off I poke my boobs to see if they're sore, lol. They are a little, but I think that's residual from the trigger shot!!!
Nae - I know I've asked before, so apologies for my crappy memory! When do you start your cycle?

Kelly-Three still seems like a good amount and it's still pretty early, did they make it sound like that could still increase?
Karan-I'm glad AF finally started for you. Sorry to hear about the fluid. Did the Doc say what he was looking for in the blood work? Hang in there. Having an hour drive is tough. I think it just gives us too much time to think. My mind always runs wild and that seems to be when I get pretty emotional.
Hoping4-Welcome to the group. I hope you are able to find some comfort here. I know that I sure have.
Babysteps-I hope the belly pain starts to get better. The ER can sure do a number on a person's body. Congrats on being in your TWW. I hope you are able to find peace during it.
Erin-I'm sorry to hear that your cycle was canceled. I hope that this next protocol is perfect for you.
Lisamarie- I'm so sorry. I know your heart is broken and I pray that it will slowly start to mend.
Laurie-Glad to hear you are feeling well and at peace during your TWW. Now I have someone to look up to in that aspect. I totally understand the public bathrooms things. YUCK!!!I remember using so many alcogol wipes to sanitize everything, people probably thought I was drinking in the bathroom stall.
Good luck to those of you in your TWW - Laurie, GCin, Babysteps and anyone else I am forgetting (it's hard to keep up sometimes, especially from my phone).
Karen - I also have an hour drive to the hospital and I always let the emotions get to me...I really shouldn't, but I can't help it! Hopefully they figure out what that fluid is! Praying that things work out!

LaurieNYC - Did you call your doc to see if it ok. After I read your post I decdied to set up a reminder on my phone so I don't forget. I get so busy with things sometimes I don't want to forget.

Kelly- we have all been praying on your smaller follies! And by the way to see my RE we actually drive a little over 2 hours. So we literally have phone calls, text messages and email. I do all my testing in my city and the results go to my doctor and he calls. Its scarey but its the only option we have.
As for me ladies I am 5 days away from the 1st suppresion check after bc... Then on the 23rd I start the cycle. Im really getting nervous. Im so new to this world and so far away from my RE. So much to know so many challenges we could face. Pray for me ladies!

Nae - I know how you are feeling, I felt the same way. Is this your first IVF? It is mine...
As for me I am day 3 of stim meds, only real side affects have been slight headaches but nothing I can't handle. I have had some cramping but nothing too severe. So far so good :) I go back to dr on Tuesday, praying there are lots of follies that are going strong.
I have been doing things to keep myself relaxed through this. Had a pedicure yesterday and went for a 3 mile hike today with some girlfriends. So far it is helping. My employees have been on their best behavior for the most part. Praying things continue to go somewhat smooth (of course start to question when the bottom is going to drop). I am keeping the faith and believing my due season is coming!!! Prayers to all, I keep each of you in prayers every night praying we all get the BFP. Those that it didn't work out, I pray for you as well that the next cycle works and that you stay strong!

Karan- yes this is my first ivf... And theres noone for me to talk to :0(. Noone but you ladies understand how im feeling and know all the lingo and the stress. I have told 2 friends and one of those friends happens to be pregnant already. The other one is an RN. Karan how many days of stims do you have to do? Which protocol are you on?
For the women whose dhs have a low sperm count have you guys tried fertility blend for men? My dh was told to take these a few weeks before his reversal and continue until he tested .. Low and behold he had a ton of live sperm when they did the surgery and looked in the microscope at a sample. 3 weeks post op he had too many to count. The doctor here was impressed as he had the reversal done in texas.. And the follow up doctor is in alaska.
The texas doctor swears by the natural herb and they even have one for women.
