Just got home from my egg pick up and they got 6 eggs. Was hoping for maybe 7 or 8 but I'm still happy with 6. Find out more info tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed!

Babysteps - 6 is great! Remember quality, quality, quality. They usually expect 60% are mature, but I've heard with lower numbers your maturity and fertilization rates tend to be higher. Both my cycles have been this way. I look forward to hearing your fertilization report. Sending baby dust your way.

Well today I decided to POAS and nothing. I know my beta isn't until Thursday but I feel so disappointed. I am hoping for a positive result. Was it to early to test? Does this mean I am not going to be pregnant? Oh so many questions and now I am going to need to try to stay positive. Does anyone have any stories of negative results at this stage but a positive at the end? I feel so helpless.

GC - super good luck on your transfer today! I hope those 2 embies snuggle in and make themselves comfy. I also hope the other 2 have kept growing and they'll be able to feeze them! Wishing you lots of luck today!

Laurie - sucks about the cramps. You just ovulated like 5 eggs, which might be making you crampy, or maybe it's implantation cramps (hopefully). The 2ww sucks and there is no way to know what is going on but with 4-5 eggs and fresh sperm, you have a great shot - hope you're embies are dividing nicely and snuggle in!

Lisa - how many days post ER are you? It's never over until it's over. Hpts have a sensitivity threshold, below which they don't show positive. I once had a negative hpt on day 14 piui and then did blood work the same day and my beta came back at 7. I was considered pregnant despite the extremely low beta. Unfortunately it was a chemical pregnancy but the point is that implantation can happen anytime from day 6-12 and the beta will only start to rise after implantation, so you just never know.

As for me - tested again this morning and it's still positive. I was so scared it would be blank and that it hadn't been real but it's still there fortunately. I can't say it looks much darker but at least it doesn't look lighter, so that's something. My beta isn't scheduled until Friday but I may call the clinic and beg them for one today. I am definitely not the most patient person and I want to know the actual number so I can see if it doubles in a couple of days.

Counting down - Congrats on your continued BFP!! Praying that all continues to grow and numbers start doubling once you do your beta. Hugs!

As for me, my ER was on June 28th. I had a 3 day transfer on July 1st. Today is 8 days since my transfer. I am hoping that I just tested early. I will test again tomorrow. Praying and staying positive (as much as I can) is all I can do.

This is mostly for lisamarie and countingdown - I ALWAYS poas early. I have been 7 times (6 miscarriages) and with my HPT they were always negative or had a really faint line, even when I was truly pregnant. I have slow to rise hcg (not the reason for the miscarriages!). Even with my son who is completely healthy I only had a faint line. Wait until the blood test before ruling out a BFP and take heart.

Well I seriously didn't have patience. I went to the clinic and begged for a beta. It was originally scheduled for Friday. So.. I just got my number.

beta number 1 = 17

Low but it's only 11dpiui so I'm still hopeful. I asked for another beta on Wed so see if it doubles but they said no. They said that it's still too early and really I shouldn't have done it today. My next beta will be Friday, when it was originally scheduled (and we'll be looking for a number of 60 or higher).

I'm really happy but still a bit apprehensive. Maybe if I get a solid number Friday (and Monday) I'll be able be able to trust it a bit more. Wish I was like a normal person and could just enjoy but I'm going to try my best to believe it until the next blood draw on Friday. In all likelihood I'll keep poas daily in the meantime.

For the moment though, very happy!

Counting down- bless your heart you are trying your best it does become an obession thing. I know they say the 2ww is the hardest. I just hope your not stressing your body out by testing too early and worrying. This is the time where u have to be patient with your body and I know this isnt easy but for your sanity try to keep busy. Im a little ways awa from my 2ww and im sure im going to go nuts wanting to test everyday. My doctor has very strict instructions to not test for 14days after transfer. Im going to cry because of the torture. Good luck hun!! Hang in there

Just got our fertilisation report - 5 out of the 6 eggs fertilised!.. which she said was good as normally they expect 60-70% do. yay for us!

Yay babysteps!!! Hopefully next week I will get a report that is as good as all of you all!! Even though I understand, I'm still a bit bummed that I won't be able to do a fresh transfer, but I am going to push for something ASAP!!! Tonight is the first night of shots...and we have our nephew staying with us. We are planning on doing them after he goes to bed!

Hey! for those who asked, the IUI was Friday morning. I definitely feel more hopeful with this IUI compared to the first, but i am constantly wishing i was going for my ER tomorrow as i was originally expecting- ugh! SO glad to hear things are going so well for so many of you! Cant wait to start hearing about all of the BFPs!!!

Well, my transfer was this afternoon. We transferred two 8-cell embryos, and three remain. Hopefully all three will make it to freeze, but I am trying to not be too hopeful if you know what i mean.

My 2ww begins! I test on July 23rd.
