Hi ladies,
This is my first time on DS. I recently finished my first IVF cycle with PGD. I had four embryos but after the PGD it was determined that only one was healthy, a little girl. The waiting has been torture and yesterday we got a BFN. I've been so discouraged.
I have had 6 miscarriages over the past four years and have one beautiful little son who is 2 and half. It seems most likely that I have many eggs with chromosome abnormalities - we knew that was the case for sure with two of the babies.
I will start my second round of IVF in July. Anyone else?
This journey has been so long, and with so much grief. I don't want to do this alone anymore or hide my miscarriages.

Erin-I know the wait is killing you but hand in there. As far as rude comments about IF, I always use a little passive aggressive guilt trip on them. Gets them off my back and hopefully lets them know how bad their words hurt.

Laurie and Karen So what are yall doing to keep busy and your mind off things? I am preparing for mine and need to know the tips and tricks from veterans.
As for me, my belly is so bruised right now I am running out of places to inject my three shots a night. It is swollen and sore to the touch and I want this phase to be over so we can move on to the next step, triggering. I had another, for a total of three, ultrasounds and blood work completed yesterday. Everything is good, growin follies like I should. So far, I have a total of 7 on my left and 6 on my right. They are anywhere from 12cm-18cm in diameter. The RE said she wants all of them to be between 18-20 before she will let me trigger, which looks like possibly Monday. I go in again for, you guessed it, another US and BW. Hopefully, Monday they will all be where they are supposed to be in diameter, I can trigger Monday night and have the ER on Wed as planned.
My DH accidentally gave me a dose and a half of Gonal-F last night, oops!, but no serious side effects. I just hope I have enough for tonight and tomorrow night. Does anyone know if that will do anything??

I have been praying for all of you on this journey and especially for those of you in your TWW.
So, I had my ER on July 18th. Was told that AF would be here 10-14 days after that....so we are now 17 days after and still nothing. I am worried about this since we are doing another ER! DH and I did BDed 9 days after ER(even though we were told to wait 2 weeks)...I am PRETTY sure that I am not pregnant. I don't feel pregnant, nor do I feel the symptoms of AF that I normally feel. Am I being paranoid?!?! I just want AF to come and get on with all of this...the faster AF comes the faster we can get this show on the road. :-)

Tested this morning....early I know, but it was a BFN. I'm taking it rather hard....at least harder then usual. Anyway, I'm going to take a DS break for a week or so....not in the right frame of mind to be on here.

Karan- great job keeping busy! I am so praying for you and laurie to get a bFP. Im days away from starting my 2ww. I will need suggestions...and if you dont mind.. Can you tell me what to expect? Body wise?
As for me- well i had my ER saturday night and wow i wasnt prepared for how that was going to feel. Ladies thats painful... Im still experiencing some discomfort but seemingly getting better. I was a bit thrown off by the observation of dh sperm... There was some clumped together with sperm antibodies forcing the Doc to say he needs to do a ICSI. I wasnt prepared and I worried but was so looopy i didnt care. Now any of you had to this? Sidenote- my RE had horrible besids manner .. But i chopped it up to him working on a saturday at 10pm and his new hip replacement I had no idea about. :0)
Now we wait and wait and wait for embrie report
Ttc - sadly you actually want to be a pin cushion as long as possible. I now get to do pogestrone until I start my 2nd trimester. It's a pain (literally) but hopefully worth it in the end.
Naechicks DH and I had to do ICSI sadly because his swimmers just would not move. It didn't work for our first round but I had a really round ER with alot of swelling. Hopefully you will have the best of luck!
We're back from VT. Time with family was a little tense but much better than I expected. I got to spend a lot of time with my brother who I only see once a year so that was great.
JA I also had breakthrough bleeding with the BCPs and they sent stimms over the same day. I was actually kind if psyched to get started sooner.
Laurie I'm sorry about your hpt. I'm really hoping it was just too early. Ive gotten false negatives several times from testing too early. Fingers crossed.
Bflix congrats!!!! BFPs give us all hope.
Nae we are doing ICSI too. It helped us to get 100% of our eggs fertilized w IVF#1, granted we only had 4 :) I think its awesome what they're able to do. Best of luck. You are such a great cheerleader for everyone here!
Blfix-congrats! That is such good news. That sucks to hear about the progesterone but in the end this is all worth it. Heres to hoping and praying your beta continues to rise :)
Laurie I agree with Erin. Sometimes if you test too early youll get a false negative. Try to hang in there and join in when you feel like it.
Jewel- good luck with the meds. If you not brave enough to stick yourself (like me) DH can be a great supporter.

As for me, I went in for another ultrasound and blood work today and I am ready to trigger. I have 7 follies in my left ovary all between 18-22cm and one really big guy at 30cm in there. We have named it Big Bubba because it gives me so much pain. In my right ovary, I have 7 follies as well all between 18 and 20 cm. My follies are so big they feel like they are ready to pop thru my ovary, lol! I am scheduled for my ER on Wed morning at 9:00am. We are doing ICIS and hoping we get a favorable report on Thursday.
