I was up before the timer on my coffeemaker started the morning brew...and it's set to start at 4:00 am! It's obviously time to change the start setting.

My pain is relentless again today and my first dose of meds (hour and a half ago) hasn't done a thing for me.

I'm facing a labor intensive morning in my salon which will be an excruciating challenge, at best. I'd like to think that I'll be able to relax and rally for some part of the weekend, but I'm all too familiar with what it will do to me.

The added stress in my life is a real killer for me. AND...it's raining.

I have no words to describe how comforting all the recent support has been for me. Thank you dear friends!

Family don't give a shit as usual same old same old Neuropathy feels like its spreading moving up my body hands hurting now nothing helps no body cares can't do shit

Maybe the PM doctor can figure out a different med plan. I have a spinal cord stimulator implant for my neck and right arm that works so far.

I just wrecked myself...REALLY wrecked myself, working this morning. I have just medicated and plan to lie down before I fall down.

thanks for being here everyone making me laff, cry, think, and write i too feel like shit and so alone well i lost my last family member my nehpew because i wouldnt lend him 15000 i gave him 5000 last year im on a fixed income and really have no one im lucky i saved well but i live modestly so i can live well im angry and hurt and feel so alone

Pamela-you are never alone in the David group. We are here to help each other laugh, cry stamp our feet and frustration, shake our fists in the air. Every day is a struggle for me. But we are here for each other in this little subgroup.

Just a note to let everyone know that I will be starting a three day course treatment on Monday as an out patient at the hospital. My doctor has ordered an Steroid IV treatment for an MS exacerbation. She was fully convinced that I had a bad reaction to the Lyrica I had taken, but also believes I am in the midst of an exacerbation. So hopefully the treatment will help improve my walking it has in the past. Hope this finds you all having a low pain day. Hugs, Cathy

Hi! It's warm and sunny up here! And the colours are gorgeous. I love this time of year. I did't post yesterday because I was feeling lousy. I tend to withdraw when the pain is bad. I guess this is a good place to practice changing that old behaviour pattern. I will make an effort to be truthful and voice it when I feel yucky. I like to be cheerful and I don't like pretending to be cheerful, hence, I stay quiet when I truly don't feel cheerful.
But today, I feel good!

I can't take any more waking moments of this pain. Time to see if my Trazodone works better than it did last night. Nothing else is working so I don't know why I expect my sleep meds to.

What are Stinkbugs?

I think Stinkbugs are Mother Nature's attempt to drive me insane. They are bugs that, well, STINK if you squish them, move them, or upset them in any way. Sometimes I think if you even look at them with any harmful intent in your eye they will emit their foul odor!

In addition to being stinky, they can flatten themselves out and get into the tightest places including just about any opening in a house, shed, barn, car, etc. After a night with cool tempuratures, I've seen them huddled up together to stay warm while they generate some kind of liquid that looks like drops of tobacco juice. I'm not sure what it is and I'm not sure that I want to know. They are also extremely damaging to crops. I've read that they don't have any natural predators here in our country (except for me of course).

Supposedly they arrived in the Eastern part of the United States courtesy of a shipment of something or other from another country. I just wonder what we gave the other country in exchange?
Anyway, they have spread to a lot of states since their arrival. You can probably Google them to find out if one of them will soon be coming to a neighborhood near you. Yuk!

Where I live, skunks are the equivalent. It doesn't seem right that we have to tread lightly so we don't cause any anxiety for nasty criiters who refuse to even negotiate a truce!

I was born in Tn, we have big ugly stink bugs. 10 years ago we moved to WA state and they have little tiny stink bugs that are worse!!!
I'm back in TN now and my pain is out of this world! Humidity and temp. changes all the time are killing me. I could use a hug this morning! :)
