Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
I'm having a really rough time this morning. I can't blame it on doing too much yesterday since I was pretty useless. Everything but my nostrils hurt terribly today...guess I better focus on finding something nice to smell...
Manny...aren't you supposed to go to a cider mill for...er..cider?
Hugs,
Cherry
Welcome o2bfree.............
Rhonda that sound awesome. I've been to Milwaukee for the 95th, 100th, and 105th anniversaries. It was fun, but I bet I would have enjoyed your gig more.
Manny....if you're talking about the apple cider donuts, I hear ya!!!
Cherry....great to see you too. I hope you and all who are here have a decent day.
I'm a little stiff this morning. Had a great weekend. Those who are hurting, I hope you get to feeling better. Got some stuff going on today, but nothing major.
Big Hugs,
David.

I had to list all the medications that I am on and what I use to combat the pain, and when I was done, I looked at this long list and shook my head.
Then I looked at the list of what I have tried over the years!!!!!
....no wonder I'm grumpy.
love to you all, hope your day is better today.
Just coming here makes me feel better.
Rhonda I know you used all your spoons for the event but what a wonderful outcome. Now you will rest and recover and can rejoice in God's love for you. We all can because we are loved.
Enigma it is wonderful to see those days go down. Now you are close enough to be starting your paperwork. Wishing you a lite workday.
Manny I am with you. Fall bring it on!!!! I have one scarlet leaf on my dogwood tree and a few orange leaves on a oak. The promise is there.
To everyone I hope you can find the promise in your life today. It is there, as sure as the leaves will turn into beautiful colors.
I do enjoy seeing the fall colors start on the trees but I'm not enjoying the cooler temperature. We've had rain for the last 3 days and forecast says rain til Thursday with wind thanks to hurricane Ophelia. I hope I'll get a break from the pain and stiffness after that.
Hugs and peace to everyone here, sending you positive energy for a minimal pain day.

Just want to give you all a ((((((((((big warm hug)))))))))) and let you know that I'm sending good thoughts your way.

I've not been posting as much as the steroids work their way out of my system, I've been a grump. LOL. So I am sorry I have not been around and as supportive as I could be. I am starting to feel like my old self, but the steroids seem to have long half lives. Needless to say, I am grateful and overjoyed with the fact that my legs are much more stable due to my treatment, So it was all worth it!
I read back over all of your post and so much is going on with all of you. Boy if you play hooky just for a couple of days you really miss a great deal. I want you all to know that I consider you all my dear friends and you are always in my thoughts and prayers.
I am presently doing research looking for a apartment. Since I am disabled, but only 55, and yet on a fixed income this has some inherit challenges, but it is like a detective puzzle that I have to crack until I find the answer. I hope that today finds you doing something enjoyable! Hugs, Cathy
about 3 days a month, enough to keep up with insurance. I met with
the president of our company, the HR person, and the manpower
person, and I came out of that meeting still having a job, in spite of my
permanent restrictions.
They are going to draft a letter stating my position, with the
restrictions, and I will eventually be promoted even further than now,
with an increase in pay. I was shocked.
I am so grateful to have all of my friends here, and I am truly fortunate
that this meeting turned out the way it did. You all are special to me.
Let's keep this thread going. Check in when you can and let us know
what's happening.
Big Hugs,
David.
^_^+^_^+^_^+^_^+^_^+...WE'RE DANCING IN THE STREETS!!!! Congratulations!! What wonderful news and it could not be more deserved. I am so happy for you and thrilled. Hugs, Cathy
David. I am just thrilled!!! to hear of your promotion and how much they love you to keep you on inspite of your setbacks. I have a company like that too and it is a godsend. However, it is probably well deserved on your part, so give yourself a pat of the back for a job well done to getting these kinds of concessions. I'm so happy for you and your family.
Good things do happen to good people!
I am flattered by your responses, and you are correct about the weight off my shoulders, but you all are really a part of who I am. I think together.....we are strong!!
Big Hugs,
David.
