Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
As for me, I dealt with my anger (gently) and the blues are gone.
I am so grateful for everyone here bringing inspiration and support. The pain is still very strong but I'm happy now! It's all in the state of mind.
Hugs, Ama
It's almost 10:30 and I've already run three errands. I feel pretty good today. It's gonna be close to 80 degrees here.
To all of those here not having the best day, I hope it brightens up.
Big Hugs,
David.

NO PAIN TODAY
ANGELA
I am going to go look at an apartment in the only area on the Peninsula considered a slum. It has a reputation for criminal activity too. But the woman I talked to assured me it is a nice complex, in a secured building. So we shall see. I will keep an open mind, it did say it has water views. Hugs, Cathy
Congrats on the great news at work David, you must be so relieved and happy about that.
Thanks for the big hugs Angela, I need them today. We are being blasted with another rain/wind storm after Ophelia just passed through two days ago. On top of that I have a stomach bug... very nauseous, dizzy and chills. I'm curled up in bed with a big sweater on under my blankets just trying to feel warm. And of course this is making my pain go crazy, I'm hurting in places that hardly ever hurt.
I hope others are having a better day and feeling little pain. Hugs to all,
Lisa
David, congrats on the great news.
Cherry, Mopping hurts, I hope you don't have to do it to often!
Ama and lisa, I do hope you feel better and have less pain.
CW- I hope that you find a great safe apartment!
Tomorrow I go for second half of RFA, I do have reduced pain finally. from the first half. So I am going in positive that it will help some. if not,
I know I have other options.
I may not be one for a few days, I finally got everything caught up, for when I will be down. Husband is not good at laundry...LOL
I hope everyone has the best possible day :)
Blessings To All Rhonda

David how wonderful and i am sure a big weight is lifted off you shoulders.

Cherry have the surgery you will feel better. Don't stop now. You may be amazed at how much better you will feel.
CW good luck on the apartment. A view of the water would be nice. Particularly if no stairs are involved.
To everyone I am missing I am wishing you good nights sleep and hope that is refreshing.
Sweet dreams my friends.
David so what will you be doing at work? I am so glad they are working with you instead of against you and they only do that for the good people so I am sure you earned it.
I am up and going got to get dressed and take my niece to school even tho my feet are killing me and I must of sleep wrong as my back is screaming this morning but I will make it and hopefully the walk will help
Beautiful weather here and dont want to waste it complaining about me as before I know it it will be snowing and I will want these days back. Grrr just wish my body and my mind worked together LOL
Frost on the ground here, yet strangely, my back feels somewhat looser.. go figure!
I'm living with a schizophrenic who has 365 personalities and is completely unpredictable!
I love you all,
Hugs,
Ama
Er.....,Big hugs to you. I hope things go well.
@Manny,
My job description is Control Technician. I am an electrician, doing commercial and industrial work. This usually involves heavy lifting and overhead work, which are my two restrictions.
I will be responsible for running jobs, and light duty work, within my restrictions. I am very fortunate.
To all who are struggling, I am hopeful that you will find some relief.
Big hugs,
David.
Cathy hope your apartment hunting is going well also. I know you are ready to get rid of stairs and you need to for safety's sake.
Manny isn't it the truth Fall will come and go and we will be wishing for it.
Where I am we usually have mild winters and rarely have snow. They say this year will be dry. If that is the case I think my bones will be happy.
Enigma why ow??? Must be bad migraine. You are getting closer to your date and I hope this is a short one. I know they never leave and I hope the days fly for you.
Ana less back pain is good. Living with 324 personalities has to be a challenge. How do you manage that?
David have you started back to work yet? I know one little furry guy who is going to miss you during the day.
Me....I am maintaining. I will see an anesthesiologist tomorrow to discuss an injection in my neck. I have had success with this in my back so I am hopeful. I did have two almost four years ago and didn't get success but I am willing to try again if he thinks it could help. He has been in my surgeries and I respect his opinion.
