Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
Sending hugs and smiles to whoever is in need of some.
Take care... Gaye... xxx
Plant something colourful for me.

Today as usual I hurt as hell. I am a property manager so I have to evaluate tenants today who are applying for different units.
I also begin PT on Wednesday which in the past has always kicked up my pain levels forcing me to quit. This time I am determined to hang in there and see if I can't get "over the hump".
My 24-year-old daughter is moving back into the house today after being away for nine months. She was shacked up with a guy who turned out to have dubious character. She has a job at Starbucks. I feel that if she stays here more than two months, I should start charging her rent. What do people think about that?
That's it
hugs to everybody
Hank
@ Gaye, So glad to see you!!
@ Hank, Great news. God is Love. I'm happy for you in your decision.
@ Pamela, Always great to hear from you.
@ Angela, I think each day of your situation. Headaches are bad, I had them, but migraines, from what I hear, are a different story.
@ Er...., I hope everything works out OK
I would like to go through the whole list of all the people here. I look forward each day to reading your posts. You all mean so much to me.
I am doing OK. Just got off the phone with me Rehab Professional from W/C and she has released me, which is good. I would have to call her after every doctors appointment post spinal cord stim.
Now I'm in the pain management mode. My numbers have been between 4 & 5, which is great.
Let's keep this going. To those just looking I hope you're doing OK. Feel free to check in once in a while. It will be great to hear from you.
Have a great day!!
Big Hugs,
David.
I just got back from the city for a community celebration and visiting my mother and it was great to see friends and family but at the same time, very difficult because it physically exhausts me when I can't lie down when I need to. I didn't talk about my pain with my mother if only to explain that I had to keep my shoes on in her appartment. It's my resolution to not talk about it unless they ask (my family). My close friends are generally more concerned and I can bring it up with them and get some support. Family is always so much harder to deal with!
Anyway, I missed you and I'm glad to be here again,
Ama
Hi everyone. Just wanted to give you all big hugs.
Just want you all to know how much I appreciate you all. I can never say it too much.
Wishing you all sweet dreams,
Cherry
It's been awhile since I've posted as couldn't get online for days. Fortunatly one of the parents fixed the problem for me n showed me what to do if it happens again. The Lord said, " Ask n you shall receive." I am sooo grateful.
We have been having terrensial rainfall here n strong winds up to 30 m.p.h. Lower back has been hurting so I've been using heating pad on n off all day. It does help some.
It's so great to be a part of this wonderful support group. Thank you all for all you do.
Love,hugs n prayers, Vicky xxxxxxxxxxx
