Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
what a blessing that will be................
Welcome, welcome to our new additions. I hope you can get settled in.

Morning all and welcome KellyT. So glad you joined us
Been a tough few days. I've been writing down my migraines in the diary that was supplied by the specialists and it is more detailed than the one I do for myself. This one makes me sad. At the end of the day, I see the occurances and patters as worse than I thought, and when it says 'triggers' (reason for migraine) I have no answer. They give me a big long list to choose from, but I'm so practiced in living the correct lifestyle and eating choice foods, that the reason eludes me.
I've had some real bad ones for no reason. I need reasons in my life. I need logic.
Counting down with you. I hope you keep checking your blood pressure. I'm getting anxious about it, so I couldn't even think how you're doing...Lol.
Today is the 3rd anniversary of the day that changed my life and everything that goes with it. It is tough some days, and this may be one. I'm going to reach down in my gut and grab a handful and just hold on. I have a lot of things going on.
OK.........enough about me. Let's hear from you.
Have a great day.
Big Hugs,
David.
I'm doing ok, lower lumbar is still hurting as is neck n back of skull. Learning to take it easier n watch my moves, no twisting/turning. Need to use my whole or upper part of body more.
Saw a good pain mngt. dr. yesterday n being treated now. It's taken months for this to happen so i say, don't give up, you never know when the right dr. may/will come round.
Best wishes to all n may God help us in dealing with the issues we all have to face in this life.
love,hugs n prayers, Vicky xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Been quiet on this posting and I hope that is good news. Maybe the Autumn months are kinder to most of you and are doing better. Me, not so good, but same ol' same ol'.
Extra hugs today David. Sorry it is your anniversary, but glad to have met you. Your loss is my enrichment. Life is dumb.
Selling my guitar, but buying artist paints.
Angela
Got to go and get laundry together before I go
@Angela, What do you create with your new paints? Hugs
@Manny, So wish I could give you the magic pill to ward off your headaches. But glad this one is past you! You are always in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs!
@David, "Three Cheers for Three Years"! You deserve a celebration for all your determination and hard work. Hugs!
As for me....I went grocery shopping yesterday at Walmart, always fun, and while shopping my vision doubled severly. This is an M S thing. I just went trough the IV steroids and now we are talking about doing a MS drug on a weekly basis. But my vision has not stabilized since the shopping trip and it is frustrating.
I'm also still looking for an apartment. I have had to extend my search to state wide because of the lack of available apartments. I hope this finds you all doing something you enjoy! Hugs, Cathy
I'm worn out I kept my grandaughter 3 days and it physically kills me. But I love her I live for her somedays. She brightens my life and heart. But it's killing me. I don't know what to do. I have another grandbaby on the way too. How am I gonna take care of a baby again? I guess what doesn't kill me will make me stronger, lol.
