Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
A good friend of mine had a major heart attack and is in ICU. We think he will be ok but will need another stent put into another artery soon as well. He changed jobs recently and could not afford the cobra. He is already worrying about the bills. Positive energy sent to Gary in Stony Brook, NY would be most appreciated.
For myself, pain is back to normal levels today, I hope they stay there at least for today. Still waiting on any answer from w/c for the scs trial. I try not to get to excited since nothing has helped before, but have have hope.
I hope you all have a good day with smiles and laughter out weighing the grimaces of pain.
Hugs,
Barbara
Wishing all less pain and more joy.
It seems like forever since I've posted. I've been real busy. It's great to see all of you sharing a little bit here.
I went to my PM doc today and he didn't cut back any more on my meds, ( glad about that). The SCS is humming away. Schlene, if you're watching, I got you message with the SCS questions and I'll get back to you.
I'm getting ready for bed, after one Judge Judy.
I plan on making my home made sauce Friday, with homemade meatballs, and hot sausage. I make 3 big pots at a time.
I wish you all well, and thanks for being here for me, and others!!
Big Hugs,
David.
The start of a few days of rain is underway, here. I'm hurting terribly and have such a busy day ahead. I start with 3 clients and no break between, then immediately off to a dental apt. that's a good 40 minute drive...then back here for PT.
I haven't figured out quite how I'm going to manage. I always do, though.
Wishing everyone a joyful day,
Cherry
I wish you all a beautiful day today!

I was finally able to post some pictures of my garden! I bought my first home 3 years ago and was able to have my first garden. First thing I did was dug a little fish Pond.
There are three pictures of my pond in my photos and it shows the 3 years evolution. It amazes me how things can change in 3 years. This is what gives me joy and hope and I wanted to share it with you all. This is my pain sanctuary.

My oldest bro' passed away last nite at 9:00 pm, we were prepared and everyone said there farewells. Interesting thing happened, I thought I would share with you all. Some may think I'm looney others may have heard of this or experienced it yourself. Anyways, as I prayed for my bro' last night(just prior to his passing) I smelled this beautiful fragrance in the room. It was impossible not to, there was nothing to explain it. No candles going, etc. Anyways, this has happened 2 other times in my life and I attribute it to a sign from God, to comfort. Needed to share this as others may be encouraged by it also.
The lower back is still hurting but not out of control pain. The medication does really help in this area.
My prayers are with you all and a big thank you for your sharing, encouragment, prayers and just being you.

Today has been a good day. The moisture has moved out. The pain levels are bearable. Had a nice breakfast out with my wife. Went to Walmart, and a couple of errands.
My thoughts and prayers are with those who are in need. Have a great day.
Big Hugs,
David.
