  I've been divorced 5 years now and our daughters' 16 birthday was yesterday (twins). They had a band concert and afterwards we went for ice cream. I invited the ex along for the sake of my girls and even bought his ice cream. I was honestly trying to make things good for the kids. Sure enough tonight on the phone he's talking to his daughter's asking them how many birthday cards have they gotten from Mom's side of the family. When did this become a competition?? I don't get it. I bite my tongue...

  Been awhile since I posted anything. I still blame myself for what happened to my daughters. All I think about is i shouldn't have invited my high school sweetheart back into my life. I also think about how I vented to a good friend that id caught him in my daughter's bedroom, I didn't see anything going on and he claimed he heard something. My friend told me then he could be a preditor and to get rid of him. The girls counselor told me not to jump to conclusions. I fight often with myself that...

  Once again the perp. in jail is appealing the case. I was feeling ok. Thinking well I won't worry about it unless he actually wins the appeal (for dismissal or new trial.) But tonight, I'm physically ill. I don't want my daughter to be put through the trial again. I guess xanax is my friend tonight

  Some people say in a divorce both are equally at fault for the marriage ending. In the case of one spouse cheating multiple times do you think both are still equally at fault?

  My daughters had a counseling appointment yesterday. During the appointment, the counselor had me come in and it was discussed that one daughter's stomach gets upset often and usually when she's about to do something new, there's a new change etc. The counselor talked to her about some things she could do about her nervous stomach like: meditation, mindfulness, breathing excercises, focusing on the present, talking about the "facts" (for instance: has anyone ever harmed you when you've gone to...
