  Hello all, been a while since I've posted anything.  I have good news.  I've been fairly stable.  But the best news is that I joined the Kairos Prison Ministry and it's helping me heal from my repeat experiences in jail.  I was so traumatized by jail  -  how I was treated, solitary confinement, etc -  I've had nightmares for over 12 years.  Basically PTSD.  Kairos ministers to both men and women in prison.  We write letters, hold workshops, make food, etc.  The letter writing is very...

  Ok, this is going to be a long rant. My parents divorced when I was 11 and my dad raised me. Both parents were very abusive to me and hostile towards each other (with me caught in the middle) till they died five years ago. When I was 18 my dad married my stepmom.   i haven't been on in a while (partly because I hate this new webste). This past November I really struggled with suicidal thoughts and I had the pills to do it - the only thing that stopped me was thinking about what would happen to my cats if I died. Im doing a little better now mainly because my pdoc increased my mood stabilizer dosage.   It's been a while since I've journaled.  Partly because I HATE THE NEW WEB DESIGN.I've been thinking about suicide a lot lately.  I have the pills to do it.  I know it would kill my brother, but he'd get over it.  Victor would be upset for a while but he'd get over it too.  I would hate to leave my kitties.  I've tried every antidepressant (almost) and nothing has ever even taken the edge off my depression.  My pdoc suggested shock therapy but I just don't want to go there.I have come to...
