Hello all, been a while since I've posted anything.  I have good news.  I've been fairly stable.  But the best news is that I joined the Kairos Prison Ministry and it's helping me heal from my repeat experiences in jail.  I was so traumatized by jail  -  how I was treated, solitary confinement, etc -  I've had nightmares for over 12 years.  Basically PTSD.  Kairos ministers to both men and women in prison.  We write letters, hold workshops, make food, etc.  The letter writing is very theraputic and the I hold a lot of "credibility" with the inmates (so I've been told) because I've been "on the inside" unlike most the Kairos volunteers.  I haven't been in to minister the inmates yet, that's coming soon.  Women aren't allowed to visit male inmates except on "closing" day of the 3 day workshops they have.  The women's prisons here in Texas are in very remote locations, but the wonderful thing about Kairos is that they pay for your hotel room when you participate in the women's inmate workshops and visitations.  I feel so blessed and that a "heaviness" has finally been lifted from my heart.  Oh, and Kairos is HUGE, international.  If you are interested you can check it out at this link:
