  Hey all, I don't think I have actually posted here before. And from skimming some of the posts I am not certain I am in the right place. I am not having issues with a codependent relationship, but issues with codependency with my children. My daughter 29, is and has been an addict for quite some time. She wants me to believe that she is "clean" now, however I am not seeing any changes in behavior or attitudes. She still hangs out with the same people.   Well, a week ago Friday, I was hit by a major trigger completely unexpectedly. My oldest son sent me photos from the emergency room, showing his broken foot.To explain, March 13, 2017 my younger son had to go to the emergency room for what was thought to be an appendicitis.   Well, things have been going pretty well in most areas of my life. Gs behavior is improving, grades are great. My school is going extremely well, and we got to move away from the narcissist ex-husband. I knew things were going too well. My oldest son had told me he would help with expenses if I got a place, then blew up last night when I let him know how much I was going to need, that also included about $400 of his own bills.   So, I havent written an entry in months, life has been hectic. I am still in college and maintaining a 4.0 GPA and have made Presidents list all 6 terms. Yay Me!!  Grandson is still home schooled. We tried live school at the beginning of the year, it lasted 3 days. The school had purchased a remote learning program and insisted he use that rather than the curriculum he used last year.   It appears that my depression is lifting somewhat. First I increased my Vitamin D intake, 2x day. Second I made myself go back to school (Criminal Justice/Human Services) in June, and I have maintained a 4.0 GPA as well as made Presidents List every term. Third, we finally got to move out from where we were living. My grandson and I are no longer in the shadow of the micro-managing influence of a passive/aggressive narcissist.   Well, things are kind of looking up. I made the decision to get my Bachelors of Science-Criminal Justice in June. I'm an online student at CTU, with a graduation date 04/24. My son and I made the decision to buy a house, so I'm looking for a house we like and can afford. Working with the mortgage company on pre-approval.Home Coming and the start of school for Zack coming up in Aug.
