  I don't understand or comprehend how when you have been stuck in a deep, deep, dark depression that goes on for a year or longer, why people think you are making a choice to feel that way. They think you are choosing to be negative and you just want to be a downer. They seem to think you just have to make a decision to not be depressed and it will magically go away.   I am sorry for posting this in 2 different groups, but I didnt know if the breakup one or this one was better, and I'm desperate for some input because I don't know what to do. So to make a long story short as I possibly can make it, my woman and mother of my 7 year old son broke up with me and left me last July of 18.   To make a long story as short as I can possibly make it, my woman and mother of my 7 year old son broke up with me and left me last July of 18.
