  Everything has been going pretty well in my battle with alcohol this time around. I've been going to a lot of meetings, I got a sponsor who I talk to everyday and I'm being open and honest with everyone I talk to. Today really sucked though. My stepmom, out of nowhere, asked me how much money I had taken out of their water jug of change/some dollars. I said I didn't know because during my addiction, I did take money and I had admitted that to them awhile ago. We didn't talk about it again until...

  So I've been doing pretty well for the last 19 days of being sober. I've been staying positive, active, involved in my recovery and just really trying to plan a good future for myself. Today, however, I'm feeling so beside myself. I'm upset, depressed, unmotvated and very pessimistic. I had an AMAZING job interview today at a local newspaper for a customer care position, but of course, they said they'll have to do a background check (as almost every place does now) and I have a felony charge...

  So I've been in plenty of trouble, legally and with my family and I just recently got out of jail and had no where to go besides my dads house (which I was kicked out of about 5 weeks ago) where my dad and stepmom live. My stepmom and I never really got along. I mean yeah there were times when we did, but that all kind of went out the window when my addiction took over and I put her and my dads marriage and happiness in danger. I've done a lot of hurtful things and I wish I could take it all...

  I just got out of jail yesterday for another DUI charge which I'm hoping will be dropped, but I honestly have no idea whats going to happen. I've been trying to remain sober for the last 3 years, but I never got more than a few months clean. I've been to two rehabs, hundreds of meetings, jail and even a psych ward. At only 26, it's a lot to take in and I was never really sure I was an alcoholic until now. Always trying to condone my behavior or make excuses that it was okay, now I'm in a whole...
