  Last night I tried to kill myself. Tonight, I am spending my first night at an inpatient ward. Last night I gave up all hope and tried to cut my wrists. I failed and I wish that I hadn't. I don't want to be alive today and I wish I had died last night like I was meant to but here I am. They admitted me to the ward and told me about allllll the shrinks that'll be coming to see me.   Recently I relapsed into cutting and it's been getting steadily worse over the past few weeks. I managed to hide it while at the beach and in my school's uniform shorts. Still, I got lazy and my mom found out because I left a bloody tissue in my room. Since she found out I haven't stopped, but this morning my (polyamorous) boyfriend of 9 months who moved away recently told me he met someone in the town he moved to and he asked him out.   after my mother found me crying on my floor today and i spent an hour refusing to speak and not moving my eyes from the floor and pinching my wrist repeatedly, she ran downstairs and checked the calendar. sure enough, it was my dad's birthday this week. that explains the urges and the flashbacks and the dissociation and the food problems i've been having. it's such a relief to know what's going on but that doesn't make it any easier to get through this period. i just need to get a handle on...

Basically my mom and my dad were never married so my whole life I had to go back and forth between their houses. A week at my dad's, and a week at my mom's. My dad, who was a musician, was abusive.
