I dont know why but I am up early after only 3 and a half hours of sleeping. I dont know if anyone saw my oh crap post but I forgot my wedding anniversary yesterday it was our 22nd. So I am in the dog house for that one.
It is like a broken record for me I dont get enough sleep at night so I either drag all day or I sleep all day and then get up make dinner do this and that and then I am up just watching TV all night when I should be sleeping.
I had alot of nerve pain in my leg last night I dont know what is worse muscle pain in my back or nerve pain in my leg they both have different cons and I guess in the end I would rather not have either but I am not so lucky.
Hope everyone has a great weekend and see you next week as DS is doing something that I guess it will be down for the weekend so we will have lots to talk about on Monday.
It was pretty bad to begin with, but more than I can stand, now. It, of course, connects with my torn shoulder and the nerves from my neck and pinched so that my arm down to my fingers are in pain. Yesterday, my PT confirmed that my left shoulder rotator cuff is starting to go, also.
The pain is so bad that every day is depressing as I still have to work. I've lightened my load as much as I can, but what I realy want to do is disappear.
Sorry to be such an unsupportive downer....
manny, oh crap!
I must be getting used to not sleeping. I feel wide awake but only slept 2 hours. My wifes ready to drug me or knock me on the head. It's not just the pain, I think anxiety has alot to do with it too. Anyway I'm worried because I know I'm not getting enough sleep.
I'm aching really bad right now, It's frosty outside again and I think every joint in my body is screaming at me right now.
I only hurt myself 4 times yesterday. It's really pissing me off, everytime I do something it's like someone stabbed me in my lower back. I'm starting to think someone has a Mike voodoo doll and they're sticking pins in it.
Got a huge day ahead, right now I'm watching cartoons with the boys but I've got to get motivated pretty quick. One autism specialist will be here at noon to do assesments with Eric and then we have our autism team meetings starting at 4 and going until 9. We'll have a house full of people and somehow I need to mold my feelgood face on for a long evening.
My terrorist.....I mean sons, are out of school today and they already have this gimp hopping. This will be a rough day, I'm a wreck physically but I've got no choice but to push it.
Sending some feel good to the people in need and hoping everyone has a decent day,
Mike
It is 7 am Pacific time. I have been awake for an hour but am going back to bed for hopefully awhile. I am supposed to have lunch with a girlfriend but it hasn't been confirmed yet. I have a lot of laundry to do. Dad is complaining that he is out of socks so I guess it is time to do it. I actually split it over two days so I don't overdo with my back.
Brandi: so glad the dinner for little duck went well. You get mother of the year for October. So sweet of you. We had a bbq for my daughter's sixteenth and also invited the families of her friends that wanted to come. I think that is the last party we had here except for birthdays each year.
Mike,Manny and Duckie, get some sleep! Even if you have to take something to do so. You will get sick because of no sleep. CP patients need a lot of sleep. Praying that you will get adequate rest with no additional pain today. You have my empathy. Been there, done that. I use a cpap and a well known sleep medication and maybe I get six hours but those are the best six hours of the day. A couple of mornings a week, I sleep till 10 or so. The sleep specialist calls me a double whamy-insomnia and sleep apnea.
Mike, I hope you can enjoy the day off with your boys. But don't let them overtake you. Hope your meeting goes well tonight.
Looks like I hogged the post for a day or so. Sorry, folks. I guess I would have to say that writing is a coping skill for me. I am going to start journaling on my wall.
Rain all weekend is expected. My joints say so. Beautiful leaves throughout the city....Take care all. I will read again this afternoon. Big gentle hugs,
Melinda

As I said, I went back to work full time this week, in a different capacity. I'm on an actual construction site, with a lot of walking. I love being back, but I feel like I've gone a round with Mike Tyson, but I still have both ears.
I have missed being here as much, but this position is very demanding, and I had a busy evening to do list this week.
I feel so good being able to go back to work.............for now. I will see how I feel when it gets colder.
Thanks to all of you for being here. I still check my e-mail by phone at work and I get an uplift when I read the posts I watch.
I hope you all have a great night.
Big Hugs,
David.
OK, I told you not to send the insomnia bug to OR, Mike, and for Brandi to keep it from coming down I-5. Thanks a lot! What kind of friends are you? LOL Anywho, I have been up for a while and it is only 4:30, that is AM, not PM, lol
Yesterday was car frustration day again. Took my car in because we heard a noise in the back end. Thought it could possibly be related to the new tires and brakes. Wouldn't you know it, a wheel bearing to the tune of $250. Bob meets me at Les Schwab and we leave the keys. They said if I left it, it would be first in line today. I asked Bob if he wanted to go ahead and get new tires on his van. They were close to bald. So we bought two for his and they put them on right then. He had asked them to check his back brakes and wouldn't you know it, he needs them. He said he could do them, but I said in the rain? So we will take his in for an alignment and new brakes this afternoon. So they made a killing off of us this weekend. Prob around $1050 when both cars are all said and done. We had put this maintenance off on both cars as long as we could. You have to be safe in your own vehicle....I highly recommend Les Schwab for those of you in the NW. Over the years, this particular store has treated us really well.
Nothin much planned for today except laundry, laundry, laundry and the UO-Colorado game. Need to find out who Oklahoma plays. Oh, and don't forget the series. I decided to root for both teams. Torn between dear friends in MO and relatives and friends in TX.
Bob is playing music tonight so I will go with him for a couple of hours and come home. Church tomorrow and I don't want to miss it again. I need it!
Mark left and did not come home. He could be on the streets. Sadly, he drank a six pack of Corola's yesterday. He bought a new back pack and filled it up with more. He used all his vicodin from the surgery. He was transferred to a different store; where he has to go back onto graveyards and work by himself. It is like they are putting him in the penalty box and he is mad. The store is right on I-5 in the worse part of Eugene. He is depressed and I went to bed with worry. Hence, I am up.
Going to make breakfast and see if I can go back to bed. Please say prayers for my son. I am very concerned. Love and big gentle hugs to all
Melinda
Took Rocco out this morning and he even said it was cold. Just 42 degrees, but that's cold for me. It looks like I'll be working outside and in an unheated building this winter. We'll see how that will fly. Work has taken a lot out of me this week and I will spend the day resting.
Thanks for all of you being here for me, and each other.
Big Hugs,
David.

I was able to catch a little sleep last night. My wife left me in the recliner and I slept 3 hours there and then another hour and a half on the couch this morning. I think it finally hit me. It was just a few hours but for the last few days I had hardly slept at all.
It's not as cold here this morning and it looks like it will be a good day. I'm not in too bad of shape so far and everyone has plans today that don't really involve me, so I'm free to do as I like. Most likely I'll do a few things outside.
I'll miss you all when the site is down, I hope it goes by fast.
Hope you all have a great weekend,
Mike
I'm not doing well today; having muscle spasms in my back again, from my upper spine to the lower spine. Can't sit, walk, stand, just lay down. Getting bored, time to takeup my cross stitch, knitting or all the books in my room I need to read. Or...I could take a nap, since I hardly got maybe 2 hours of sleep. Decisions, decisions, lol
I hope all of you are doing a little better; maybe we will have a better week for everyone.
Wanted to say "Hello" to our new CP people, I have met some of you,to those I have not met, please know I am here if you need somebody to talk to.
Anxious to know how everyone is doing...you are always in my thoughts and prayers. :)
Love and gentle hugs,
MaryKathryn
I sat in church and didn't feel so miserable I couldn't listen and appreciate all that was going on.
My doctor keeps telling me I have ADHD and now he wants me to try welbutrin.
The sympoms are that I am having trouble getting things said in sequence and I have trouble making connections that are new.
Old ones are fine.
I feel so stupid some days. All in all I know I am so blessed and try not to think of it.
I am able to get up and spend time reading again which I haven't been able to focus on in years.
I am enjoying this quiet time in the mornings and my days are better because of it.
I hate alot of loud noises or when people talk all at once. These are part of the new symptoms that I think go with what the doc thinks is ADHD.
I have trouble with sustained conversation and tend to not be able to hold focus or grasp it.... like it doesn't sink in.
I was not like this until chronic pain. Could the pain do this?
Well didn't mean to take so long to "leave my mark"
Love you guys!
