I am not receiving email from DS regarding things I'm watching, hugs, or anything.
Just wanted to stop by and say that I am doing OK, but work has changed my availability, big time.
I hope you all feel good. I will stop back asap.
Big hugs,
David.

Gentle Healing Hugs.
I am really upset this morning as someone stole two of my pills and I know who and it just pisses me off now I have to wait all day to talk to them and it wasnt even for them it was for their Ex hubby. Thank goodness I only get 10 at a time as I have to pay out of pocket for them and they are expense. It is going to be one of those days where you let something mill over in your mind all day.
Other then that things are ok and I got my laundry done yesterday took me most of the night and for some reason I have been feeling better at night and doing my house hold duties then but as long as they are getting done I cant complain about it to much.
I have a few things on my plate today and crossing my fingers I can get it all done. It is some things I have been putting off till the next day and then the next day and so on. LOL you ever do that and then it gets so big and takes so much time you know you should of done it when it was little poop instead of big poop.
Hope everyone is doing well
im just wanting a normal life..just for awhile..then again i wouldnt know normal if it hit me in the face!!!!
amy
David, I know it's frustrating isn't it? I really miss my home page. I get some emails but not everything. I'll be glad when they get these bugs worked out. We miss you but understand that you're busy.
Manny, sorry you have to stew on that all day, that's a problem I haven't had to deal with thankfully.
Amy, I hope a good day is comming for you soon. A long stretch of bad wears you down in so many ways. Hugs.
MK, we really got blasted with the wind cold and rain. Well, it wasn't really rain, it was more like a spray since it was moving horizontaly.
I think we dodged the snow but I just read that Topeka that isn't that far away got several inches out of it. Anyway irf we got any snow over night it didn't stick and there wasn't a trace of it this morning.
Ahhh, what a difference a day makes. This weather change hit me like a train. I've got the all over aches and I'm wrapped up like a caccoon in my recliner. Nice and toasty.
I slept last night, yeah!!!! Granted, it was here and there but I'll take it. I woke up at 3 came downstairs and started playing a video game and fell asleep until 5. Then I made coffee and by the time I poured a cup and sat down in my recliner I passed out again and slept until 6:30. Then I had to really scramble to get everyone up and out of here. I'm still trying to slow back down from that.
I'm resting up for tomorrow, I have to make my perscription run and that involves several hours of driving. I'm not looking forward to it, it always trashes me to be in a car that long.
I plan on just staying warm today. It's still very cold and real windy outside and that kind of weather just cuts right through me. I think I'll just stay curled up and relax.
Wishing everyone a good day,
Mike
@Manny- Honey...I am so sorry but, I had to laugh as I had this vision of myself trying to jump, reach, climb, swat and capture three little parakeets. OMG! If you look anything like I would have looked, it would have been the "America's Funniest Home Video" 1 Million dollar winner. I am glad that you got those little critters. As for your missing pills....that is so HORRID. To lose the availability of scheduled pills...doses that we so desperately rely on AND to know that someone who was in your home STOLE from you. I would be furious and in tears at the same time!!!! My hugs and love to you.
@SSL
HUGS and tons of support to you my friend. I am so proud of you for just continuing to go forth and be strong...sometimes, that is the hardest.
@Amerika- We all get there, tired and more tired. Try not to let "bad" feelings swallow you up...you have to keep moving to the other side of the river for your own sanity and for your babies. HUGS to you!
@Mike-I am so happy for you that you have been sleeping! That little bit of sleep can make the world of difference for pain and mood. The changes in the weather though...uugggghhhhh...that sucks. I think most of us are going through that in our own ways. I think for Christmas, I am going to make you a set of Polar Fleece Feet Jammies with the butt flap. I will figure out a way to wire them and have a battery pack so they heat up like an electric blanket. That way, you could walk around all winter WARM! HUGS my dear friend.
@Dave
I MISS YOU! Our room is NOT the same with you so quiet. I hope and pray that things are going ok for you at work and with your pain. Please give Rocco huge hugs for me and here is huge hugs for you. You are so AWESOME!
I hope I have not forgotten anyone that has posted their latest updates. If I have, please forgive me....medication fog and pain are not great aiders for memory.
To all who have not checked in or any others that I missed: I wish you all a lot of support, understanding, compassion and joy. I also am more than happy to give you huge ducky feathered hugs and my support.
ME>>>I hurt pretty bad today and, sleep is still elusive. I seem to be able to get 2 or 21/2 hours and then, I'm up for a while, then fading in and out of consciousness for the rest of the night and UP for the day about 4:30.
I was able to gather most of the paperwork for Social Security. I will take that to them today. I have to call them back as well so I can finish some of the other things. I have to get up and go get stamps and mail the bills per my moms' request. Then...I am coming home and going straight to bed. I will not move for the rest of the day.
HUGS and SUPPORT to you, my friends!
@Paulina--Honey..HUGE hugs for you right now. I am sorry that you are facing such trials. I hope that you and the MD will be able to get a final pinpoint as to what is going on with you. I am glad to see you posting here more. Please my friend...know that I love you and support you with my whole heart, please take care of yourself and do only what you can.
@ Jan
I am so sorry that you are hurting so much right now. Extra pain sucks! I am very glad to see you post in here as well. I hope things are going much better now that George and you are back in the same house. I feel more comforted to know that you have more help there and you are not alone so much. That can make pain so much harder--dealing with it alone so much. HUGS to you my friend!
Yesterday, I worked in the morning and then drove 2.5 hours (round trip) to my supply store in the afternoon. My first client is late, this morning, and I'm going to be scrambling by the time she gets herself here. I try to spread the appts. out to be able to accomplish a fraction of what I used to do.
Meds aren't doing a thing for me...time to turn the page to the second chart...10 isn't high enough.
Please excuse my whine fest, but I don't know what to do, anymore.
I saw my 2 daughters today and 3 grandchildren... it was so nice to visit with them and my grandson Cruz(2), and granddaughter Talia(3), who I don't see too often, were happy to see me too; I even got an enthusiastic hug from Cruz, very unlike him but he's growing up and less shy now. Grandchildren are the best! I babysat 2yr old Noah last night and we had a good time together.
Hope everyone is getting enough sleep tonight and wakes up to a minimal pain day tomorrow. Big gentle hugs,
Lisa
Amerika, I know how it is to have to get fast food dinners as I sometimes do the same thing and it drives me crazy and what I try to do now is buy pantry food that people can make themselves or frozen meals here and there. I dont know how old everyone is in your family if they can do that but even a grill cheese and some soup is not a bad dinner and be better then fast food.
The bottom of me feet have been bothering me and I think it is Plantar Fiseitis(sp) and nothing they can really do for that except get those inserts for your shoes or cortisone shots. I have had the shots before and that by itself is painful and I only get maybe a month of pain relief but I am thinking it may be time as it is driving me crazy to have pain everyday and a new pain of now my feet it is almost putting it overboard.
My son pissed me off yesterday as he cleaned his room and then left enough dishes that I had to make six or seven trips up and down the stairs to wash them. I could of waited till he got home from school but once I saw them I could not take care of them.
Mike, I hate driving the movement of the car kills my spine it is like it compacts it down and it is worse then doing a day of cleaning. Hope everything goes ok and the only thing I could suggest is to stop and take a stretch break. We used to have a cabin up north I loved to go to but it was a three hour drive and we finally had to sell it as we would drive up there for the weekend and I could not get out of bed till the ride home and then spend two days in bed when I got back it was a mess.
Not much going on here today trying to clean up and work on some quilting projects I have going on.
Manny...I have plantar fascitis too. What saved my life (it really hurts!) was going back to really good shoes: Birkies; Clarks; Earth; Dansko. Those four brands of shoes have literally removed all the pain from my feet. I was buying cheap shoes because it was all I could afford and, I would be almost in tears sometimes because my feet hurt so bad. I went back to Birks a year ago and, I have not had a problem since---unless of course I walk around all day---YOU KNOW that does not happen! Even so...it is much milder comparatively.
Cherry- sounds like things are not getting any better for you. I wish there was some way for you to get some relief. No one needs that kind of pain all day and night everyday.
I hope everyone else is getting some relief and I hope you all are having a good day. I will check in later after more people have had time to check in.
ME>>>> I have to take my little duck to her new Psych this morning. Her old one (we loved him) is now the director of childrens mental health at a major university hospital. This is the last running around I have to do. I am so grateful. This week has been so busy and, I am definately worse for wear.
I spent two hours yesterday at social security waiting my turn to provide the majority of that paperwork that was requested of me. Sitting in those damned office chairs was a killer.
I finally got her decision notice in the mail yesterday as well. I read all the paperwork and, I was very discouraged to see that it can take 90-120 days for the first payment to roll out. That means things are going to be hard for a while longer. I just keep reminding myself that AT LEAST she is eligible. She has a twin bed and really, really wants a double or queen. I am praying that I can give that to her for Christmas. If it takes the full 90-120 days...we will be in March.
I am going to come home and go back to bed. Tomorrow, I am going to stay in bed. Sunday is full grocery shopping day and that will take a lot out of me. Next week...I plan on NOTHING. NO ONE GETS ANYTHING FROM ME UNLESS I CHOOSE TO GO.
HUGS to you all
