Day 8 - another day passed and accomplished...no sleep loss or sad feelings last night...feeling hopeful on this day and while the journey may be wrong not just to reclaim her trust, continuing communication is at the forefront whether via phone or in person. The road continues....keep going!

My name is Jake and I am a Liar. I have finally been confronted about my lying and realize I need help or I will lose everything, espeically the woman I love. It has been an eye opener to see and hear all the stories that I can relate to, knowing I am not alone. So far this morning...I have been honest. I want to keep it that way.

day 18 and going strong. I know i have needed to do this work for a long time. Feels good to finally (hopefully) get it right. Stay strong and again all be kind to yourselves.

Day 9 - another good day has passed...in my travels yesterday i thought about all that I had wrought-facing yourself is probably the hardest part when lying has become to you like breathing. A good nights rest for a second day...the one whom I hurt has volunteered to come with me on a teaching trip to MD...I had initially thought that I was going alone as part of the fallout from my lies...but we had gone together the last two years to this event-before the lies became known..and she upped and said that she NEEDED to go with me because of the environment and that I would stay true to my word...the trust is not there and won't be there for a while but it is all part of the healing process. Day 2 and no lies. Have been thinking alot about my triggers and I know what they are but I know need to learn to control myself when they happen. Honestly have been just trying to keep my talking to a minimum for right now and just watch what I say. But still tell my love everything that is going on during the day. I have to strat re-building a strong trust foundation with her. One day at a time.

Day 10 going strong it's so hard because she doesn't believe me I want her to believe me

Jlab... isn't that frustrating... for once, telling the truth, living honestly, and they don't believe you. Really, why should they at this point? That's my life right now, and probably will be for a while.

good day. I heard yesterday someone say "It's all about attitude: So better pick a good one!" Committed to being myself. Looking forward to tomorrow. Stay positive. Day 19 checking in.

Yesterday was day 45, it does feel easier to not lie, the hardest part now is picking up and trying to put my family life back together. Another tough night of conversation. But now it's friday, so chin up and keep moving strong.

Day 3...I have not not lied. Going great. My love and I are in a good spot right now. Working on getting to where we need to be to take that next step again. Feels great. But I always have it in the back of mind of what I am going to do now to mess this up again. I hate that feeling more then anything. I am trying to replace it with positive and know that I will not do anything to direspect her. Stay the course.

So here's to day 1. I have actually gone quite a few days without lying, but this is my first day in the group. My lies have destroyed my marriage. While we are still married, living together and coparenting, my spouse is now going out and speaking with another person. My world is destroyed and it's all due to my lies...completely pointless, useless and in no way necessary lies. So here's to day one and trying to stand on my own two feet.

Day 10...double digits...seeing that L'm not the only one go through these range of emotions...man hurt is hurt...lies are lies, and once that trust is lost it is going to take a moment for it to be regained, if ever. I have left the choice in the hands of the one who I hurt so badly...so far up to this point she has agreed to continue to communicate with me and we have been having dialogue, some light, some hurtful, some very painful...but it is ALL part of the healing process. We are going out tonight and travelling tomorrow together...more time for dialogue good and bad, but to me she is SO worth it.

My stomach knots up every time I think about what I did...but I'm determined to make this change for my life...because l am determined to make this change because like a rock in water this lying has a ripple effect...friends, family, relationships...I hear you all in what you are facing...I'm facing it too. Keep pushing, keep going, keep sharing, keep living...prayerfully with time those who we have hurt will slowly begin to trust us again...and words are not going to be enough...actions will say that which words can't say....

Working on living BIG. In all aspects of my life. Lying is but a symptom of the bigger issue. Fix the issue and there is no need for lies. I will continue to explore, inspect, ask for guidance to ascend into a more authentic me. Keep moving forward. Let's believe in ourselves and know we are enough.

Haven't been on for like a week or two but 22 days free with no lies. Therapy has been going great looking at the issues that I was having and really understanding who I am and what gives my life meaning and value. Just been getting easier and easier to tell the truth and things are looking up. Need to be patient with trying to heal my relationship with the lady. Keep up the good work everyone
