Hi I'm tommy today is day one for me

Day 29 was lie free. Husband went out...led to major anxiety for me, but that's just how things are at this point, not much else I can do, so I'm focusing on me, my kiddos and what we need. Also started working the 12 steps, which I hope will be helpful and enlightening!

Welcome to all new ones! Day at a time and remain committed to change and growth. Spring is upon us; a season of renewal. Continue to feel lots of gratitude. Even for the bad and hurt, guilt and shame, as these feelings let us know we are alive. Shine light where there is darkness; talk about what is hurt and anguish and fear and all will become diminished when brought out in the open. Continue to nourish your soul and give yourself love. Going out for a hike in nature to breath in the beauty of this day!!

Hello all - Checking in. Its been a bit but I'm glad to see my friends are doing well. Stay positive & stay focused! :)

I guess its been a few days, but all is well. The second session that included my wife's participation was a success, it went really well. I think she "discussed" a lot more than either of us thought she would have to, but it was good, for both of us. I did 95% listening which was good, it was hard to hear sometimes but I needed to hear the things she was feeling. Now that the doctor has both of our backgrounds the next session should really get into everything much deeper. I hope everyone is doing great and had a wonderful weekend. Keep it up, we can overcome this.

Daily check in. Trying not to lie today.

Days 31-32...come and gone...and still the better for it every day...no lies told and still having heartfelt but hopeful communication with my lady...not just about us but about me and the tasks I have at hand to better myself, to which I am more than willing to do. We had a great time Friday dancing (even posted a great photo on FB that she asked me to post), brunch, movies and dinner on Sat-where we had our most serious conversation even in the midst of that there were smiles but also a still hurting heart...but she says she is not ready to give up on us, she wants to wait, to see the changes, the transformations...and hearing that from her was a wonderful thing...again let me say that while she is the byproduct of my change, I am doing this for me...because time to take a stand and go forward...and I shared with her the boat theory, and she totally agreed with that.

Keep challenging yourself every day in this new journey of not lying...dont give up...yes it is EXTREMELY frustrating I know...but remember you are doing this for you FIRST...keep pounding!!!!

Day 30 and 31 lie free. Hard conversations on Saturday night and husband feels like I still don't know him. He says the assumptions I make are only my assumptions and I don't know what I'm talking about, I don't know him and I'm wrong. Well when your husband is going out, talking to, texting and spending time with other women....what are you supposed to assume. I told him what my counselor said about him talking with other women being the number one indication that he is done with the relationship, he is not working on us and he is moving on. He disagrees, but in reality, how can you work on your marriage when you are talking to other women.
