So here I am....thank you...
I'm Jen. I am a liar. I was doing so well until the last couple of days, I lied to hide my shame and to avoid confrontation.
I hid the truth from my friend who graciously lent me his camera; I immediately replaced the lens cap that I had lost with a brand new identical cap and didn't tell him when I returned it. I feel a lot of guilt for this. I know he would forgive me if told him but I still feel like a kid – who if told the truth, would still get punished. Not an excuse. Like most lie I've told, I've always want to tell the truth, but now it's been two days :(
I didn't tell my ex that I felt jealous because of one of his social media post, joking about getting an erection with all the women around at the beach today. I didn't tell him I was hurt when I heard girls giggling in the background when I called. He knew I was lying through my voice and he told me to tell the truth, so i did. He thinks I'm ill and should get professional help. I am hoping I can get some help here with some peers.
i feel like such a bad person, even though I know I'm not. am i lying to myself?
Have a lie-free day everyone
