Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
My best friend called last night and I broke into tears while speaking with him. He stayed on the phone with me and spoke with me about old times. It was very kind of him.
David I love your comment that God was behind every hug I received the church.
I am so blessed to have a wife of 32 years who loves me. I love sharing the hours with her especially at night in bed. With her around until so confident.
Take care everyone and let's hope for low pain and somehow we can get through this.

BLESSINGS AND A LOW PAIN DAY
Denise
Denise...wow...holy cow...it sounds like you found one in a million! You are blessed.
I'm having another day pretty much like the rest. My neck has decided to add a heck of a spasm to usual pain, but I'll survive.
I only had one client today for a color. Unfortunately, that was all I could really handle. I've been doing this woman's hair for quite a few years and have developed quie a history with her. She's completely loyal and always gives a $10 tip. Today, she suprised me with a $25 tip! I htink it bothers her to know I have surgery ahead and keep working through the pain. Maybe she wants to make sure she'll be first on my call back list! Either way...itmade my day!
Hugs o all,
Cherry

I hope everyone feels better tonight and add those members to your prayers who have been permanently banned and cannot get our support that they so desperately need because of problems here.
I think we should tell others in chronic pain that there should be some sort of relief from it. Unless we tell those who can fix it, nothing will ever get better.
When there is no good reason for being in chronic pain, it should be kept at bay by those who have the ability to ease the pain.
I thought I was stronger than the pain, until this morning at 4am when I found myself driving to the hospital. My first time in 30 years where I just couldn't stand the migraine and went into the emergency doors.
I had an IV coctail that the nice doc said usually works. It didn't work on me, but they gave me a lot of morphine so I slept. I'm now heavily drugged but the pain is still there and when the 5 percocet he gave me run out, I just pray this will have run it's course and be gone.
Damn this one hurts so bad that I can't form words to a proper conversation. I thought I was tougher than this, but the migraine is so sharp it is winning this time.
You guys are great. I love this group. Minnie, bless your heart, I hope you get to feeling better.
I feel pretty decent today. My wife has an antique show this weekend. I helped just a little today to pack, and the pain came. It seems any little thing I do messes up my spine. 3 months post-op now. Hopefully it will get better.
Denise Congrats!!!
Angela.......counting down with ya!!
I hope you all are good.
To our newer posters please keep sharing. We need you!!
Big Hugs,
David.
