Sundays are always busy for me. Heading back to church soon. We're starting small groups and we're having the kick-off hot dog supper and sign-ups tonight. I'm looking forward to it.

hugs to you all, hope life is treating you better this weekend. Prayers for those who are struggling.

I'm having a pretty rough time of things. Everyone commenting on how pale I am all weekend. Hubby just commented that I'm not sounding good. Must be the heavy sighing. Damn this hurts so bad and this is with more drugs than recommended.

I just want to take an ice cold ice pick and shove it under my eye socket to the very point that hurts so bad and release all that pressure. I know the exact point and then it will all be gone.

I'am here today. Been away for awhile, i am still so upset about the banning of certain people. I miss them. Wish i could figure this out. SORRY KALLIE you are feeling so bad. Please get better soon. And sorry to everyone else who are also having a bad day. Big Hug to you all.

Morning all - 63 days. Was 570.

Bad weekend and night. Stomach says no more drugs but head wants some releif. Long day of work ahead. Endurance is the theme for today.

I feel scared, frustrated and stressed. I wish a doctor could find the source of my chronic pain :(

Sarahnb, many people here struggle with what you are going through. I have been trying for over seven years and even do a podcast on my adventures of dealing with it. I am sooo sorry you have to go through it. The world can be a very unfair thing. I hope you get some relief soon and will put you up for prayer on the website for tomorrow.

Being single for more than 14 years, I am totally deprived of human contact. Unfortunately I have found that human touch, a hug, holding hands, being carressed sometimes cures my chronic pain. Since I cannot afford massage, this is such a huge deficeit in my life. How sad to have to admit that I have no one in my life that can give such a huge gift to me. I remember the first time I went for acupunture. When he out his hand on my leg to put in a needle, I just burst out in tears as it had been years since anyone had just touched me. Maybe I could go into business providing touch as a cure for what ails us. LOL.

I've not been doing very well the past few days. Well...for a lot longer than that, but I'm thinking about how I've felt since Saturday morning, I guess.

I really need to be able to work through the holidays before having surgery, but the way I hurt, it might not happen. I'm depressed, isolating and only coming out to work as much as I can. I can't even rest.

This is a place where we come to and let our fellow CP folks what's going on. I have been fortunate enough to make very good friends here. I'm having a good day so far. Pain levels are staying at around a 4-5, so that's good.

Enigma, I know you're struggling and I wish I could just do something, but you are in my thoughts and prayers.

hi everyone: sounds like we all need a lift. My pain levels are incredibly high for me around six. I went to church yesterday with my family and it felt wonderful to hug so many people. I feel like they are in another world from me, but I guess everyone has their problems. My hands are reaching out to you all in cyberspace. Is there really a God and does he/she know that we are here and hurting?

debdnaff, I feel the same way that you feel about touch. I have gottne out of a ten year relationship gone wrong and I moved. I stay inside all time. There is just no more to do around here. I wish to be more out in public buy would love to make one friend that I could count out. I am a semi friendly with my aide. She has a cold and I made her wear her mask. I wasn't feel so good today either. just to have some one call you and talk for a bit or someone who could energize me to do more in life. A lot of people have family but don't make a big deal about. it. I have never gotten help from anyone in my family. They say they love me but they don't invite me to their houses. All my nieces are closer to 21. I one younger and slightly younger niece and nephew but they are stuck up. I feel my life is uncomplete because I need to have no clutter drowning in my apartment. I have to give stay a way and focused. I feel really nervous becuase I am putting the applications in to the the another appartment complex. I am terrified I won't go through becasue I have nothing as a back up plan. This makes me sick. They say this one take s ten days to 14 days to put through. The place with the most tiny apartment did it in three days.I have to redo the application again and make it readible and make sure that I don't miss anything because I can't afford it because It where I need to get a landlord thing etc and I have to get that done fast. I don't think that I can all the paper work down . I hope that I will be able to pack and do all these things and get an inspecion before I get in. I should have done the application at the aparment complex and go it checked out and and able to move in. Packingisn't go so well. I am going to hope that everyhting that somehow comes out , no less I don't know if i can move and have a apartment but I can get out of there on Halloween. I hope to got that I could take an extra day to move. I will do was great. I don't know how to get motivative. I usually statrt doing something when it at the last movement. It is strange having no one around you but your self. i burst in tears about anything. So much to be done and I am overwhelmed.

I am single as well, and have been so almost all my life. I can relate to those who suffer from lack of touch and human contact. I stay at home most of the time so my life is very solitary, that is, when I have these long bouts of intense pain. It's not easy and it does make the pain seem worse. I notice that when I'm with people, enjoying myself, sometimes my back feels better. On the other hand, I don't know how those who are in relationships do it either because when I feel bad, I don't want to talk to anybody and I certainly don't want to pretend I'm fine when I'm dying inside. That takes way too much energy.

(((((((deb,stranded, ama))))))))) Wish I could hug you for real. I'm one of those people that reach out and hug strangers on a whim when I feel a personal contact . I know some people don't like that as they feel it invades their space. Some people hug back tight. I've done this since I lost my brother and I never got to express what he meant to me.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts here. I have people in my home and sometimes it is so darn hard as I get pulled in so many directions when I just need to be left to heal in the dark. Some days I feel like I've been worn out by others too much and its a real detrement to my health. Other days, it is nice to have someone there to distract me.

The bottom line is the pain is the culprit. ((((((double hugs))))))

Been reading your comments and the old saying"somebody else has it worse than you" applys here. It comforts me to hear I am not alone . God loves me still and he loves you too. I am praying for us all. Try my favorite exercise....smiling. It send messages to all the hurting placing.
