Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
So exhausted from the Graves and whatever else is going on that I took yesterday off and worked from home for a time.
My 80+ frail parents asked me to drive my father to the clinic for stomach exrays this Saturday am. It turns out he has had a lump for a number of weeks and decided now to get it checked out. A week before their trip to Budapest and Turkey.....
Budapest and Turkey......but they can't even find their way to the clinic. Plus, they only thought to check this lump a week before the trip. You can imagine how I feel about them going.
I argued vehemently on their last trip and they went anyways so this one, I'm just putting it in the hands of God.
They don't tell me what to do; I don't tell them what to do.
Got out this morning to run a few errands. Still waiting to hear from my attorney regarding what I should do about the permanent restrictions the surgeon put in place. This is going to get real interesting, to say the least. Thanks for the support. I'm trying not to get too stressed out about it.
I hear everybody about the cold weather!! I live in NC and we'll have a high of 58 degrees.......WHAT!!!
How about everybody else. Is everyone good today???
Big Hugs,
David.
I hope everyone has a great weekend!!
I am sitting on my pillow and iceing my back, feel pretty good this morning.
Blessings Rhonda
I appologise that I have not been more supportive of late. Since the bad reaction I had to the Lyrica I have been concentrating on doing lots of walking trying to improve my walking ability. So far my improvement has been really slow. So honestly I am frustrated, but I am also stubborn so I will keep on trying.
Online I ordered a suppliment for my nervepain and I have been taking it for a couple of days. I think there has been a reduction in the level of my nervepain. If this Suppliment works for me I will post a thread about it. We shall see. I am hopeful.
For the first time in quite a few days I had the stamina to sit and complete an Art project yesterday. My granddaughter wants play food for her play kitchen. So for Christmas I made her out of polymer clay a play food pretend pizza. It turned out really well. It looks like a real pizza with green peppers, pepperoni, black olives, sause, cheese, and crust. She will enjoy it! Her Grandfather once owned a pizza restaurant. I plan to make more fun foods.
Hope this finds you all doing something fun! Hugs to you all, Cathy
Just getting a chance to sit down and relax. Big hugs to Cathy. Don't ever feel like you have to apologize. We're glad you're here, come when you can.
I want to thank all of the faithful posters here. This has truly turned out as something to look forward to......and as you know, we need that.
To those suffering, I wish you well. I'm doing OK. Still not too sure about the job stuff, but, it is what it is.
How about some more new folks. We all need to stick together.
Hugs,
David.
Vicky, I hope you enjoy your well deserved retreat with family.
Cathy, love, be careful about falling as I continue to worry about you. How clever of you to make a fancy, clay pizza!
Hugs to all, dear friends.
Cherry
I wish everyone a beautiful restful peaceful weekend.
