Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
I am hoping I can keep up the working and get the floors done today. You never know how much it hurts till you dont hurt anymore and then once you dont hurt you cant remember how bad it was. To funny but I am so glad that is over and out.
so glad you passe it! Hurrah!
I am always surprised when I have a cold or the flu that getting sick is bnarely noticed until I start feeling better. ONly in restrospect do I realize just how sick I really was.
Wonder if this is why CP is so bad? We know exactly how much life can hurt!
Manny, I am relieved for you. My wife and I are working with the 3rd and 4th graders at VBS. It's a lot of fun and the kids are great.
Well I worked a little bit today. I'm going to focus now on trying to decrease the number of meds I'm taking. I see my PM and the surgeon the first week of August. The SCS is still hummin' away I'll let everyone know what's happening.
I am so Blessed to have friends like ya'll.
Please keep posting.
David.
David, I'm so happy to hear that your SCS is working and that you're making it through your first week back at work. I bet you wish you could strap Rocco on and bring him with you.
Manny...YAY! Everything else has been said.
I'm feeling bad about my lack of hugs/responses to everyone lately. I'm trying to work...no, I AM working and it leaves me with little left to give when I'm done. I did way too much yesterday and have been in a lot of pain since yesterday afternoon. Hoping it lessens for work this morning, but it doesn't look good.
Today, I WILL call a new doc to see if it would be a better fit. My PCP is frustrated and is ignoring me these days. I need a doc who can be reached during the 4 weeks between appts.!
Have a good day, friends, and hugs to all,
Cherry
Anyway, I'm glad you all are here. Again I'll be watching today on my phone. Please come join us. Check in everyday so we know where you're at.
I gotta go get ready.
Hugs to All,
David.
Do not have to baby sit today so I am glad her mom is home today and they have a doctor appt so I have the house to my self.
My son started his first day of work at his new job he is in college and has not worked in two years and I am so glad I do not have to pay his bills and I can start getting some of my money back. Speaking of bills I better do mine today
Hope everyone has a painfree day or atleast a light pain day

i want to send out thanks and hugs to everyone and wishes for a low pain day!!
Manny - congrats, glad that horrible experience is over for you.
David - glad to hear work is going okay so far, hope it continues for you.
I am here, just woke up and I'm not in too much pain this morning. The new meds are doing their job pretty good. Still needing the breakthrough meds most days but its better than before. Starting to think I will get to go back to work someday. :)
Wishing everyone a minimal pain day, hugs and peace,
Lisa
lisa, glad that the new meds are helping.
peace and low pain to all
Tonight was the last night, technically, of VBS. Tomorrow night, pizza party!!!! My wife and I had fun, but I am slap wore out.
I love seeing the activity of people participating here. It really cheers me up to know that I have true friends that I can depend on.
For those of you who have been putting off participating............The Time Could Be Now.............

Looking forward to the weekend. Rocco and I will create that couch potato bond we had the last couple of weeks. He went from 1.1 pounds to 2.1 pounds, when he went to the vet yesterday.
I hope ya'll have a great day.
Keep the posts coming. I can see them on my Blackberry at work.
Hugs,
David.
TGIF, it rained so hard last night here that it woke me up now I am sure it is going to be really humid here today.
Hope everyone is doing ok, I am ok I started getting a pain in my side and stomach yesterday so I dont know if it is a piece of another stone giving me a problem or what is going on, it is not half as bad as last time so I am just trying to ignore it.
Well time to go and let out my chickens
