I am so sorry for your loss of Peanut. I had a cat that would lay on my chest every night when I went to bed, and it really hurt when we had to put him down. Please stay in contact with us. we will be here for you.

Ahhh, CORRIE, Think we have all been right where you're at. It is truely "painful", we love them n know how much they love us! Still remember putting our 14 yr. old German Sheppard down. It really was a spiritual journey!. Walked him to the kennel he needed to go in but he wouldn't go. Took a couple walks round the yard on the 3rd time he "walked" right in. It was like "he knew"/ he did. Cried for 2 wks. n my kids, well they all wrote letters to God telling Him how much they loved their dog n would He take care of him until they can see him again. Corri I'm so sorry for your loss. It is hard enough to have to do it but then to be completely alone afterwards is difficult to say the least. Corri, my heart knows exactly what you're feeling and I'm so sorry. I had a Peke who almost made 17, too. He was completely blind for the last 3 years so I sat on the floor and fed him, steadied him to pee and even bought a pet stroller so he could everywhere with me. Most people would have said goodbye much sooner, but I knew he was still enjoying me. So I waited until he let me know.

I was also alone with my grief and I thought it would never end. But two weeks later I had a Peke from a shelter and he was a mess. I focused on his rehabilitation and knew my Rudy would have approved.

I'm making you a cup of tea and holding your hand. Bless your heart.

Corri sorry about peanut I am not a pet over but I can sympathize with ur loss my mother has a pet chihchua (sp) that's her appendage

@ David When given a vision and u obey it look at where it has travel write the vision and make it plain so that man may run with it (sounds familar) I do know whhat going on with my spelling have to find my spell check on here

Corri your Peanut was your right hand guy. I am so sorry you had to let him go. I know you two were close and he gave you special purpose in life. 100 days until I see the Migraine specialist. I've been waiting 16 months now. Every day with migraine is agony as the painkillers don't work barely.

I pulled back from posting here because I thought if I didn't need you guys I would be stronger. I need to find more strength in me somehow. 100 days is still so far away.

Less than a month ago I found out I wound up in the hospital and found out that I had another genetic disease and I can't help but wonder if I brought it on with all the stress and pain and pills from dealing with migraines. Of course I did. I'm running on one piston for so long so of course a major gasket is going to blow!

I'm trying to be brave and strong and take each day at a time. Tonite I needed a sympathetic ear of someone who understands. Thanks for listening.

Today is a rainy, dreary day, but my spirits are high. This ts definitely the way to get assistance in our time of need. Doing it alone would be tough.

I'm so happy this is going on still, and I hope ya'll continue to post.
