Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
I missed all of ya'll too, but I was lurking on my Blackberry. We have VBS this week. We're working with the 3rd & 4th grade. It's usually a lot of fun.
I hope everyone is decent and I'll try to stop back, Rocco's jumpin' at me so I gotta go.
Big hugs to all,
Stop in and say hey.
David.
My first day back at work was good. I feel OK this morning. I had to hold myself back from overdoing it, but I think I did.
I watch topics at work on my phone and I appreciate the support.
Me and Rocco are here on the couch. I've got to go and get ready for work.
You all keep me going. Please keep posting. Let us know what's happening.
Those who need a hug and support, we are here. I read all the posts, and I stand for everyone here.
Have a Great Day,
David.
I have to take care of Mariah this week and really wished that this stone would be gone and it is not, not sure how I am going to take care of a four year old. I called my doctors office yesterday and no call back which is odd but I will have to call this morning.
David, glad to see you had a good day at work and it is important to gradually get back in to it or you can have a set back. I am sure the dog and wife missed you(sequence is important) LOL
I dont know about your wife but I do like to have the house to myself and weekends can get on my nerves.
Serenity, I hope you feel better today and Manny, don't you think you should have that test? It doesn't seem right that you are sent home to suffer and pray without another plan.
I managed to stay at the birthday party for my son and Dad last night, I was there for 2 hours...very uncomfortable, but I got to be wth my 3 sons, their significant others, my sister, parents and aunt. I didn't leave until the rest were getting ready to do the same....whew!
Everything that usually hurts, does this morning, but not significantly worse, at least. I have to work for a couple hours and that's it for today. I feel like a bum working so much less than I used to. A broke bum!
I wish or you a low pain, high joy day!
Cherry
Feeling fine for the first time in a loooong time. Graves pills are working I guess. Still tired and weak but headaches and migraine are gone today and I think I'm actually resting while I sleep. Tomorrow is my week of holidays so I am going to rest some more in the mountains.
Hope you are all fairing better today and further. Thank you for your support though my tough time.
Hope today is your day, manny!!
Glad you are back to work David and in the groove of things.
Care to you all.......
Hope everyone is having a low pain day.
Hugs and peace to all,
Lisa

BLESSINGS AND LOW PAIN DAY
Day 2 back to work. I am on strict light duty, but the fatigue is setting in, just being on my feet. I'm tired. I feel the best I have in about 3 years. The SCS is working great. I check my phone during the day and I'm watching this thread.
Thanks for making it easier for me and making me smile.
Manny, I hope you passed that stone. I heard that was painful.
Hugs to all who are posting and all who are looking.
We have VBS tonight. I'll try to stop in later. I love you guys!!
How about some more posts.
Hugs,
David.

I'm a bit discouraged tonight. My nec and shoulder hurt so much that's it's migrated to my head and down my back. My doc didn't return my call yesterday and I found out that she's still reviewing the report from the pain clinic. and who knows if she'll finally agree to the script I used to be on.
I drove to the clinic today, a half hour away, and piced up th script I knew was waiting for me, but she obviously ignored my request for the other. It's not for something new!!! I even brought in the bottle of oxycontin with only the 4 I took missing and they wouldn't even take it!!!
Tomorrow, I will call a doc I've been considering for a while. I think I deserve to be treated better than this.
Hope everyone has a comfortabe evening,
Cherry (done bitching)
Hope it's better tomorrow.
It's good to see that some of us are having some better days than usual. I look forward each day to write a little something here and start my day off by letting my CP friends that I'm listening and this is helping me. You all are very important, not only to yourselves and family, but to us.
Please keep sharing how it's going. I'll be lurking on my phone at work. I hope you all have a minimal pain day.
Hugs,
David.
