Beating Trich Community Group
You mean that there is a name for IT? Im not weird? Trichotillomania, that big, long word that is the bane of our world. With knowledge and support of others we CAN break free and live without this disorder interfering with our lives. Lets keep this uplifting and supportive and give each other the encouragement the other needs to make it to that next day.

Hi, My name is Sam and I'm new to this group. I am 23 and have had trich since I was 12. Over the years I have tried many times to stop, however it's only this past year that I have started to research ways of stopping, and have been really determined to do it. I plan on doing so with a combination of understanding, will-power, exercise, trying the John Kender diet, and seeing a therapist. I love designing, illustrating, cooking, extreme sports, exercising, seeing live music and reading. I would love to provide others with encouragement, and maybe get some support when I fall.

At least you caught the tugging. That's when I started using my fingertips to massage the scalp and face, and if I really need to stop the hands, I brush the fingernails against one another. When it's just one hand, I use the thumb against the fingers one at a time, to help me.
Enjoy the wine tour! Yes, you can appreciate the taste, and be successful!

Oh dear... I didn't enforce my drink rule last night. So naughty. Had a horrible hangover today too.... Not cool. And had to get on a bus for 3 hrs to Canberra (another state). At least I wasn't driving...... But it was a great night though!!
Went to an amazing turkish/moroccan restaurant for dinner tonight. The food was SO good. I am very happy. Wine tasting tomorrow! Ha I will not be overindulging!!

80 days! 80 days! Yes, Congratulations!
What part of Aus do you like in? It's a huge country.
Enjoy!!!
I live in the Blue Mountains in NSW, a few hours west of Sydney. You should google it. Yes Australia is huge, I'd love to take a few months to travel all over it one day, sooner rather than later. And yes... I mixed, rather badly. Wine + cider + shots containing vodka = NO NO NO NO!
I'm like Phoebe, I HATE hangovers. That's why I don't drink, and if I do I only drink VERY little. Last night I had ONE little shot of Baileys.
Hugs
