Beating Trich Community Group
You mean that there is a name for IT? Im not weird? Trichotillomania, that big, long word that is the bane of our world. With knowledge and support of others we CAN break free and live without this disorder interfering with our lives. Lets keep this uplifting and supportive and give each other the encouragement the other needs to make it to that next day.

Hi, My name is Sam and I'm new to this group. I am 23 and have had trich since I was 12. Over the years I have tried many times to stop, however it's only this past year that I have started to research ways of stopping, and have been really determined to do it. I plan on doing so with a combination of understanding, will-power, exercise, trying the John Kender diet, and seeing a therapist. I love designing, illustrating, cooking, extreme sports, exercising, seeing live music and reading. I would love to provide others with encouragement, and maybe get some support when I fall.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Thanks Granit!!! Love ya too.
Yes, you guessed it, 98 days pull free. Woohoo! This big number appeared out of nowhere..
Yes, you can do this, artist!
Hugs!
Thanks Pooh :) Mine's not long enough to be styled yet. The hair on my crown is only about 4cm long, maybe a tiny bit longer. I'll have to take a pic. Looks hilarious when I blow dry it in an upwards direction. Ha I honestly forgot what I looks like with a part, it's been that long. I look weird with hair. Glad this inspires you :)
Thank you Luna, tomorrow (friday) I'll be 100 days pull free. Wow! Can't believe it. Really... I can't. No new hairstyles yet. Still stuck in my high bun with a head band and a bobby pin for another month or two or three or four!.. But I don't mind. I'm going to try to keep it up! I definitely will today, and I definitely will tomorrow. Don't like to think too far ahead.. :)
Hehe yes Granit. When my hair's wet in the shower you can't tell that the hair on either side of my part is only quite short, so to me I look like I'm 13 again, cos that was the length of my hair then, and I had a part then. Weird.
So busy with work. So tiiiiiired. Really want to sleep. Bleh. I must not complain though.
Hugs :) xx thanks Phoebe and Mid :) You are LOVELY!!!
Touching your head in success is ok, just put the hand back down after you cheer!
Hope you get enough sleep!
101 days, here we come!
101 days pull free! I should make a movie about that haha. Doubt it would be as good as 101 dalmations.
Ok rambling, I must quickly squeeze in some work then I'm off to a family gathering. Hm. I normally like them but I'm not in the mood.
